Every time I hear someone criticizing President Trump for appointments that haven’t worked out I remember his appointments were not entirely of his own choosing, they were from lists of individuals that the senate (pox be upon them) would be willing to confirm.

Best way to tell the status of any Senate confirmed appointee is to look at the vote count of the confirmation. If it’s near 50:50, they may be ok, if it’s 94:6 or some shite, probably a derp.
