There’s no need to be defensive, we were having a conversation, not a trial.
I stand by the way I framed my statement-and even though I agree with you that there were many he should have gotten rid of right off the bat, the number (even that number it was in his power to act on) is too many to get to from the “very beginning”.
And from what we have come to see since the election, it is apparent that there are far more “Deep Staters” than many were willing to even consider, and he has a country to run at the same time. He was a relative political neophyte, so personnel mistakes he has made are not surprising.
I am one who thinks Trump gets bad advice, and as a successful executive, he depends on trusted advice. However, entering the political arena, trusted advisers takes on an entirely different meaning.
