The White House
US government account Today, @FLOTUS announced the completion of the Tennis Pavilion on the White House grounds!

December 7,2020
First Lady Melania Trump is pleased to announce the completion of the new White House tennis pavilion. The project included the refurbishment of the White House Tennis Court and Grandchildren’s Garden along with construction of the new building.
Planning for the project began in early 2018. In June of 2019, the project was approved by the Commission of Fine Arts and the National Capital Planning Commission. The building and landscape were planned to blend with the existing structures on the White House grounds.
Design of the structure was inspired by the existing architecture of the White House, in particular the East and West Wings. Elements such as the colonnade, parapet wall, and fanlight windows tie the new building to the existing look and feel of the White House.
“I am pleased to announce the completion of the Tennis Pavilion on the White House grounds. Thank you to all of the talented craftsmen who made this project possible and to the generous supporters of the White House,” said First Lady Melania Trump. “It is my hope that this private space will function as both a place of leisure and gathering for future First Families.”
Construction of the building was in partnership with the Trust for the National Mall, and the National Park Service. The new building was funded by private donations.

I wonder how many actual Republicans are on the vote review panel. I know that in many heavily Dem inner city precincts, if no Republicans volunteer to work the polls, Democrats fill in their positions. Did the RNC allow this to happen in swing states? I hope not
To: Freee-dame
Now we know why Democrats always say “count every vote.” They don’t care if it’s the vote from a non-citizen, an illegal alien, a triple voter, a person in a coma, etc.
Or, a dead person....great point, Fd!!

In at least one of the above cities, people were paid $65 per hour to work at those vote counting centers. I wonder what qualifications, if any, beyond being a loyal Democrat, a person had to have in order to get one of those jobs.
To: Jane Long
Right, I forgot the category of dead people. Judicial watch has been suing to get states to clean up their voter rolls. Pennsylvania is one of the ones that has not done it so far.

Great video. Thanks for that. Been busy catching up on Continuing Education before year-end. I need to take classes every year, but every 2 years I need to renew & they seem to put a new course requirement in every time. So I thought I would have time for the normal classes but now this. 2 all-day seminars Thurs & Fri for tax update. It is a thrill none should miss.
I thought about just waiting until next year to complete the courses & mail them through PA, so they could be back-dated for 2020. I'm sure that would work.
Plus still trying to scan my personal docs from years gone by.

Jupiter to the ancients was the king planet.
And Regulus, in the constellation of Leo (the Lion), was deemed to be the king star.
Both were prominent in the celestial events leading up to the birth of the Christ (Messiah).

Star of Bethlehem. Merry Christmas Patriots.
Biblical......

On December 21, Jupiter and Saturn will get so close in the sky that they will almost appear to merge with one another. Such a conjunction has not occurred in December for some 800 years.
Astronomy: Roen Kelly
This December, Jupiter and Saturn will put on a show for skygazers that hasn't been seen in roughly 800 years. Astronomers are calling it the Great Conjunction of 2020. On December 21 — coincidentally the winter solstice — the two largest planets in our solar system will appear to almost merge in Earth’s night sky.
During the event, Jupiter and Saturn will sit just 0.1 degrees apart, or a mere one-fifth the width of the Moon. The sight will likely leave many casual observers wondering "What are those large, bright objects so close together in the sky?"
In fact, Jupiter and Saturn will be so close that you will be able to fit them both in the same telescopic field of view. That’s an incredibly rare occurrence. The last time Jupiter and Saturn were this close together was in 1226 A.D., at a time when Genghis Khan was conquering large swaths of Asia, and Europe was still generations away from the Renaissance.
Humanity won’t have to wait quite as long to see the solar system’s two largest planets repeat this month's performance, though. Another Great Conjunction will occur in 2080. Of course, many of us alive today won’t be around then, so it would be wise to soak in this show while you can.
How to find Jupiter and Saturn For much of the year, Jupiter and Saturn have shared the same swath of sky. The pair begin the month of December just 2 degrees apart, creating an already impressive sight. Now, you can find them both in the southwestern sky just after sunset, located some 20 degrees above the horizon at 6 P.M. local time.
By mid-month, they’ll be just one Moon-width apart. On December 16, the Moon will sit just 5 degrees away from the pair, offering a handy comparison. They’ll reach greatest conjunction on December 21.
Conjunctions happen when two celestial objects appear to pass close to one another as seen from Earth. Of course, those objects aren’t necessarily physically close, they simply look that way because of their orbital alignment.
Conjunctions are extremely common, though. Throughout the year, the Moon regularly appears alongside a number of planets and bright stars. And two or more planets come together relatively frequently. However, having two bright planets like Jupiter and Saturn pair up is extremely rare.

Jupiter and Saturn conjunction 2020
We don’t have to worry about that this time. Throughout the month, the gas giants will be hard to miss. Jupiter shines brighter than any star in the sky at magnitude -2.0, while Saturn is dimmer at magnitude 0.6 — though the Ringed Planet is still quite bright.
So, you certainly won’t need binoculars or a telescope to see the Great Conjunction of 2020. But if you do have observing equipment, you’ll be able to zoom in and watch the dance of Jupiter's four moons — Europa, Io, Callisto and Ganymede.
Then, without moving the telescope, you can slightly shift your gaze to Saturn and its magnificent rings. Despite the significant size difference between the planets, Saturn’s massive rings mean the two worlds both appear to have about the same diameter when viewed through a telescope.
As the conjunction reaches its climax on December 21, scopes located in the Eastern United States will be able to catch Ganymede as it transits Jupiter for three and a half hours starting at 7:04 P.M. EST. Meanwhile, telescopic observers on the West Coast will see Ganymede’s shadow hovering over Jupiter’s cloud tops by 9:40 P.M. EST.

We’ve been watching these two stars getting CLOSER and closer, each night, for almost a week, now.
This is an event that has not happened in 800 years.
Biblical, indeed!!
May the Heavenly courts rain down their righteous justice, onto this nation, as we watch this amazing and God sent, Heavenly display.

Can’t really comment on all the jewelry business, but I’m real glad your eyesight is better!
And yes, save a dance on your card for me. I’m not too bad.
