I just bought a Line 6 240 from GC last week.

I've been looking at that. It's a big amp. Some days I think I just want to sell my Marshall stack and go all digital modeling. The tech is there. My Marshall is just so loud and I live in the suburbs. But, damn, it sounds glorious!

Funny though, most of the time I play, I'm playing through a $200 Boss Katana 50 that I bought at, where else, my local Guitar Center.

For a cheap little amp, it really sounds great!

I'll probably wind up getting that Line 6 amp.

Nice!

I've been keeping my eyes out for an old Norlin-era Custom in black. They've really gone up in price lately!

It’s loud on 2.

The Marshall tones are flawless.

Incredible piece of equipment.

Amplitube is ok, but there is nothing like having this much power behind you.

My inspiration.

Another Romney success story? Took a little longer than usual to bring this one to conclusion.

Stephen Bishop receives a well-deserved negative review.

I thought “On and On” was a pretty cool song, though.

Don’t miss the wireless tx charging on the amp.

The Line 6 comes with the receiver built in.

My problem is kicking my family out of the house so I can create.

LOL.

This amp is fat.

Nice!

Regarding the Billy Squier album, I just bought a bound Tele body in 3-tone sunburst that I found for cheap on eBay with the intention of putting a rosewood neck on it to make a copy of this exact guitar.

Squier had some great vintage gear. And someone out there has his 1958 Les Paul Sunburst (serial number 8 5394) that was stolen from a recording studio back in the 1980s.

It has never surfaced.

You might consider hooking up with “Guitars 4 Vets” instead.
https://guitars4vets.org/
“G4V pursues its mission to share the healing power of music by providing free guitar instruction, a new acoustic guitar and a guitar accessory kit in a structured program run by volunteers, primarily through the Department of Veterans Affairs health care systems and community-based outpatient clinics”
They need teachers!

That bunch needs to be on the receiving end of a Claymore mine.

Guitar Denter isn't a place I go for anything except picks, strings, and cables - and then only if I'm in a rush. There is a zero percent chance of finding any quality instruments there - just a few Scratch-N-Dent specials hanging high above the cash register that have been played by every clumsy kid in the neighborhood and are still being sold at full retail.

This bankruptcy is a few years overdue - the company was an attempt to maintain the market share of a one-off mass-market music retailer in the service of a throughly disinterested generation. A similar company - Barnes and Noble is probably headed the same way.

I got my first real six string at the five and dime.

Sounds like you got a good start to a country song.
