One of the earlier reporters was CNN. Rudy asked “who are you with?” and when she said CNN he laughed as did everyone else. That clip is all over twitter.

Close to the last question (speaker 15 in the transcript) was the extremely rude reporter, who said she was independent & then wouldn’t shut up. The next one, #16, was from The Daily Caller.

Guys identify with their vehicle.

It is a reflection of them.

Macho, sporty, trendy, luxurious, racy, sleek—what ever the car conveys, or truck for that matter.

As I aged , my relationship with my vehicles changed.

They are just transportation to me now.

I would rather have comfort and safety features at this stage of life, than a turbo.

Besides, I used to do a lot of my own maintenance on my vehicles, but I find that it is just not feasible to do that any longer, due to the electronics and cost of parts.

I came to the realization that no matter how much you love a vehicle, they don’t love you back. And at Year 4 in their life, things just start to go, and you get on the repair roulette wheel.

It is tough for men to come to that point, because we are so used to the other way.

But if you are at retirement age, and don’t go more than 1,000 miles a month, leasing is a great way to go.

My gosh we could to blood relatives! You sound like my life! We're in overload mode CB. We aren't retiring our brains as older people use to do. We're actually doing the work and investigative work of most 20 and 30 year old top reporters. Seriously. We are the news today. So don't be hard on yourself. You are amazing at figuring out and processing the difficult in life.

The car you are looking at is the 2021 Kia K5—a great looking car, and the lease will be very affordable.

Hyundai owns about 34% of Kia. Their cars are very similar, model for model.

They tend to have a lot of standard features.

And their lease deals are pretty good.

I have seen it a few times, oh yes.

I know the scene Rudy was trying to describe with the elderly woman with the coke bottle glasses.

I grew up in NJ, 12 miles from NYC, so I “get” Joe Pesci—bigly.

My favorite scene is when Marisa Tomei testifies in the field of “general automotive knowledge”.

“Watch this”.

A classic.

Look at this in Michigan! A day AFTER the election, Biden receives a dump of 134,886 votes at 6:31AM! https://t.co/CTDaWTNs29 pic.twitter.com/nSmc2olraF— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 20, 2020

Yes, and Vinny gets his roll up tape measure and has the woman hold the tape as he runs to the back of the room to the measurement of her view and subject. Classic... And the time it takes for a true southerner to make grits.

I believe I suggested this film to someone here on the train a couple years back (I won't mention who)and they threw the suggestion off. At the time I thought..boy...are they ever missing an extraordinary movie of character type casting. Its a movie of the many different American's through out our country and their traditions....with LOTS OF HUMOR!

I saved all during high school & bought a brand new car for cash my senior year. I started putting money away for the next car and ever since I have paid cash for new cars. I usually keep them for as long as possible - about 10 years, and have over 300K on them when they go.

My 2012 Sequoia has 290K on it now, & I will probably keep it for a few more years. It runs like a top, hasn’t had 1 squeak or rattle & I have only done the regular, routine maintenance. But I have money sitting CD’s to buy 2 brand new cars when necessary.

Remember what Rudy pointed out today? It really hit be to the core...FEAR/FAVOR.

Code of Conduct for United States Judges The Code of Conduct for United States Judges includes the ethical canons that apply to federal judges and provides guidance on their performance of official duties and engagement in a variety of outside activities.

Deference to the judgments and rulings of courts depends on public confidence in the integrity and independence of judges. The integrity and independence of judges depend in turn on their acting without fear or favor.

I guess hubby identifies with his diesel truck, the Harley, Prii (plural of Prius?), mule, viper, mini Cooper, and tractor. That probably means he has as many personalities as Sybil.

Luckily he’s good at fixing anything that goes wrong or at least is good at diagnosing it so it gets fixed the first try. Actually i think he enjoys it. But cars aere his Aspie special interest. I know to tell him after dinner if a car sounded funny, or he’d spend the entire evening in the shop and skip eating.
