Today we were biking on a rail trail (nice ride), we came to a rest stop (to sit and have water), some idiot parents wearing masks and their kids did, too, told Mrs DA1776 and me that we should be wearing masks and our kids need to, too. I told the moron that we are outside biking and wearing masks outside would be stupid. Idiot Parents said, masks should be worn at all times to fight it. I said since my wife and I are adults, we can raise our kids without masks on while bicycling. IP said you must be a Trump supporter, I said, yes, I am and you must be a Marxist. Then we rode away...

Apparently “Inc” has a definition of “surplus” different from “The National Debt decreases”.
The Department of the Treasury used to have a convenient list of end-of-fiscal-year National Debt going back a very long time; I can no longer find it.

The US National Debt has not seen a fiscal-year decrease since 1956.
I believe you but there is a difference between Federal debt and a current year budget deficit or surplus.
That’s painfully obvious, but the fact remains the Federal government has spent more than it has collected (deficit spending) every single fiscal year since 1956.
I've read you can become infected day 1, but there is an incubation period before you are contagious or experience symptoms.
