We always made it a point to be at home before live PD started. Just in case.

I prefer to be behind the camera.

Back in the ancient 90s, I did an internship with the city of Rock Hill. A showed called Police Beat ran on a local cable channel.

I did a ride along or two. Nothing very exciting. The cops were ok guys.

I can’t stand Dan Abrams.

Because of that liberal putz, I can’t watch 2020.

Only one of the pups, Chase, is a cop. “Chase is on the case” and “his paws enforce the laws”.

The others all have different jobs and roles in the operation.

Grandson is 4. His enthusiasm for Paw Patrol is cooling off somewhat but it used to occupy half his thought.

I am hopeful it makes it back in close to original form. I think what Dan is referencing on “behind the scenes protocol changes”, has to do with how long they kept unaired footage (for 30 days). There was a case in Williamson County TX in 2019 where a perp was killed by a cop while LivePD was filming (they were not on the air at the time). LivePD kept the footage per the Williamson TX PD for about 3 months until the investigation was concluded. Then they were given the OK to delete the footage. The BLM crowd made a big deal about this right before the show was cancelled. The irony, was the footage of the event was captured on a couple of the police body cams, so the LivePD footage was irrelevant anyway.

WSJ had an article that A&E lost 55% of their audience after they cancelled it. And I saw another article A&E was losing over $300 million dollars.

Yes Dan is a liberal. But he never once let it show on LivePD. In fact, I think it had an impact on him that the MSM narrative on police wasn’t always correct.

It was my favorite show in many years. The “almost live” part was the big draw. but the police and K9 officers became almost like family from week to week. And the live twitter streams were hillarous as the show played out each week.

I hope A&E or someone, brings it back. Dan Cesario and Big Fish own the show, not A&E. Actually I think MGM bought Big Fish last year. Maybe another network will pick it up.

Ratings plunged, boo hoo.

No it was entire audience plunged 50%! Pathetic that an entire networks depended on 1 show for half its entire ratings!

Lol.. I was saddened when they switched up the weekly S.C. deputies.. Like you said, it was almost like they were part of the family.

A scary part of the show, was when they added more Texas counties (being I am from Texas), and seeing how many NON-English speakers are living there now (been gone 22 years)...

I think there is already something like that out there.. something about how drug dealers and kingpins do their business (including the masked interviews)...

"where they instituted a delay. WHY?"

If I remember correctly, the delay was started after a kid was killed/died, and was caught on camera. They also justified it because of the raids being live (so the person being raided wouldn't see exactly what was happening (and that was stupid to begin with)).. Then there was the time needed to BEEP out the cursing..

They didn’t want the show to document what BLM was actually doing in the streets, so they took the show off the air until after the election. Neat huh?

I let them know through their viewers panel what a huge mistake this was. People stopped watching the channel completely.
