The does are suckling their fawns around here (north of Coeur d’Alene, ID) right now. We see them on our property quite often. Rut and mom with does are dangerous times. The does have killed small dogs around here.

deer in the headlights: A person with a stunned or glazed expression.

Sounds of silence:

Crickets.

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp [= 1737]
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening...

Ester and the Dawn
Purim serves as an example of what things will be like in the Messianic Age, for, in the time of Purim, the Jews merited seeing the light amidst the darkness, a situation which recalls the verse, “Though I sit in darkness, God is a light for me.”

The twenty-second chapter of the Book of Psalms opens:
"To the chief musician of ‘Ayelet HaShachar’ (lit. ‘the doe of the dawn.’ Understood to mean ‘the first rays of dawn’), a Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, from the words of my loud complaint? O, my God, I cry in the daytime, but You hear me not, and in the night, and I have no rest."

The harpist performed “The Sounds of Silence” with a uniquely designed “portable” model.

Do'h a deer, a female deer.
Ray - a drop of golden sun.
Me? A name I call myself:
פ"ה, a long long way to run.

I don’t think a harp would fit in my tree stand...
