“The initiatives were spelled out by Rebecca Walkowitz, the English Department chair at Rutgers University, and sent to faculty, staff and students in an email“

How about sending a copy to the parents paying the tuition, room, and board, Becca? Or do you not want them to hear of this idiocy of de-educating their kids?

“Whatupyo.”

Obviously, my White Privilege misspelled it.

Corrected...

“Wadupyo.”

Abolish all tenure at taxpayer funded colleges and universities. Its theonly way to save higher learning institutions.

When contacted, the new head of the Rutgers English Department, Professor John Syme, responded by saying that he was busy poring over the syllabi of his crack department to make sure everyone is up to speed on this new directive. Updated rubrics to assist staff with navigating this new way to speak (or, as Professor Syme called it Newspeak) will reach the in-boxes of all staff in time for the 20201 Fall Semester.

University english departments have been hard core leftist for decades. They’ll follow any marxist trend.
Of course most universities exist on taxpayer funds of people who don’t pay attention or don’t care about what goes on in universities.

“Wadupyo.”

Of course, that’s 3rd Person Formal.

2nd Person Informal would be...

“Wadupmynigga.”

My bad (see, I’ve got the hang of it!). 20201 is actually a long way off and we will have reverted to a lexicon of grunts at that point.

Sorry for the tipo [sic]

The Black National Anthem, as sung by Eddie Murphy...

Dark and lonely on the summer night.
Kill my landlord, kill my landlord.
Watchdog barking - Do he bite?
Kill my landlord, kill my landlord.
Slip in his window,
Break his neck!
Then his house
I start to wreck!
Got no reason —
What the heck!
Kill my landlord, kill my landlord.
C-I-L-L ...
My land - lord ...

Admission of actual inequality is not condescending

That’s the thing, sticking to well established standards for all is not inequality. Quite the opposite.

The initiatives were spelled out by Rebecca Walkowitz, the English Department chair at Rutgers University, and sent to faculty, staff and students in an email, a copy of which was obtained by The College Fix.

When do you suppose that Rebecca Walkowitz, the English Department chair at Rutgers University, will realize that she is dumbing down America?

Is that okay because it appeases those who hate our country? What will they want from her next? Does she understand where appeasement leads?

Rebecca should be willing to take a substantial wage cut.

And the dumbing down continues. Idiocracy, the movie, was and is not far off, at all.

“Instead, it encourages students to develop a critical awareness of the variety of choices available to them w/ regard to micro-level issues in order to empower them and equip them to push against biases based on ‘written’ accents.”

translation: they are too stupid to learn proper English

Rutgers University—New Brunswick’s ranking in the 2020 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, #62. Its in-state tuition and fees are $15,407; out-of-state tuition and fees are $32,189. Expensive for a second rank university.
