Dang, I’m sorry to hear about the inflammation, that sounds very painful.
I’m glad that the doctor was able to address the problem so quickly. Have the drops started giving you any relief yet?

Chatted with an older black woman yesterday while waiting on our rental vehicle. I cried, and she prayed over me.
A long time ago I was in Chicago for a trade show, and at noon I walked around downtown with a co-worker thinking we would find a place to grab lunch. We drifted a little and a cop stopped us and gave us a bit of safety advice followed by directions to a place he recommended. He was... umm... "not complimentary" about the population we were going to run into on our present course.
I suppose I could have accused him of racism, but calling a black cop a "racist" was something that did not occur to me.

How did your respond? Have to deal with same issues with my kids. We talk a lot about parroting what they read on social media. One thing about COVID is it has given us actual time to talk. I try to use facts and not necessarily refer to Q. I use the resources Q provides us. Have found this to be working with with friends also. Scary to send kids to college these days. I pray a lot.

Also along those lines a friend called me yesterday upset that some in her Christian circle were telling her that if she was silent on social media then she was for violence. After we discussed this not being biblical I found out the source...a Texas based “Christian” personality. Another friend brought it up at breakfast this morning as being shocked at this same personality comments yesterday. True colors are coming out.
Welcome back and may you heal quickly. I know the week after my surgery I was really wondering what I had done! 3 weeks out and reaping the benefits already.
