It does. I haven’t been watching any news lately for my mental health.
Is it just me or are groceries going up. Just came back from store, was there so long looking for tahini, finally found it, I put the cold stuff away and have to rest before I put the rest up. I needed tahini because I’m going to try making my own hummus to save money. It’s not rocket science.

If any statue in the USA needs to come down, it is this one.

"The Statue of Lenin, Seattle, is a 16 ft (5 m) bronze statue of Communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin, by Bulgarian sculptor Emil Venkov. It was completed and put on display in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in 1988, the year before the Velvet Revolution of 1989. In 1993 the statue was bought by an American who had found it lying in a scrapyard. He brought it home to Washington state, but died before he could carry out his plans for displaying the Soviet era memento.

Since 1995 the statue has been held in trust waiting for a buyer, standing on temporary display for the last 25 years on a prominent street corner in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. It has become a Fremont landmark, and frequently has been decorated, or vandalized. The statue has sparked political controversy, including criticisms for communist chic and not taking the historic meaning of Lenin and communism seriously, or for taking it all too seriously, or by comparing the purported acceptance of such a charged political symbol to the removal of Confederate monuments and memorials. I had that book when I was a kid, read it several times. Scarlett O’hara was my heroine, because she was so strong and took care of everyone else. The only thing I didn’t like about her was how she treated Rhett, not realizing how much he he loved her.

All-time favorite film (hence, my tagline) and the book is wonderful--when you read it you take on Scarlett's strength. I remember recommending it to two girlfriends for their summer vacations...both said they were ordering their husbands around the whole trip.

Trump Expected To Visit Border Fence Near Yuma

FTA:President Donald Trump is expected to visit the border fence near Yuma next week.

The Washington Post reports Trump is expected to attend a ceremony in the Yuma Sector to mark the completion of the barrier’s 200th mile. That is according to officials who were not authorized to describe the plans.

Univision reports a White House administration official confirmed Trump will visit Thursday.
