You can tell Freepers dont read the article ..lol
Sessions appointed Durham too, which is something you dopes are unaware of.
Durham's been on the case since the day after a certain unnamed letter began posting on the internet. Let that sink in.
“...why you didnt tell President Trump beforehand, that you were going to recuse yourself”
I really think that was answered.
Okay...show me where it is in the letter please. I'm asking nicely.
Read the article@?
What sacrilege!
“Excerpt: “Some have asked, why take the job as Attorney General if I knew I would have to recuse myself from the investigation? I knew no such thing. I wasnt informed of Comeys secret investigation until after I became Attorney General, and the investigation wasnt publicly confirmed by the FBI until weeks after my recusal. “ “
Scroll to the top of the thread. Please stop being dumb.
Or refer to the Mueller report if you must.
(excerpts)
WASHINGTON Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions carried a letter of resignation with him every time he went to the White House for nearly a year, according to testimony revealed in the special counsel report released Thursday.
*snip*
Later that week in July of 2017, Priebus said Trump decided against asking for Sessions' resignation, but engaged in a series of tweets referring to the attorney general as "beleaguered."
*snip*
The repeated attacks on Sessions, coupled with increasing pressures about the future of his tenure at the Justice Department, prompted the attorney general to craft a letter of resignation.
"According to Hunt, in light of the president's frequent public attacks, Sessions prepared another resignation letter and for the rest of the year carried it with him in his pocket every time he went to the White House," the report reads.
Can you figure that out? Sessions offered his resignation, just like he says, which was not accepted. Yet Trump continued to bash him so he drafted ANOTHER resignation letter which he carried to the White House every time he went.
Also, why would a man lie about offering his resignation when it's so easily denied by Trump if not true?
#LogicalThinking.
Bash Sessions and the situation as you understand it, but make sure you understand it first.
And think.
What name calling? He asked a simple question. Here's the quote in question.
Wonder how stupid an honest person would have to be to not see that.
Please direct me to where he 'name called' you or anybody else. By the way, do you think he was calling you stupid or dishonest? Or both?
You're a bit disrespectful of a fellow Freeper who has been here a while longer than you. I made a statement that didn't require you to be obnoxious.
What about your so called seniority demands more respect than any other poster? I've always wondered about that. Maybe you can explain it to me. Thanks.
I anxiously await your reply.
He appointed Durham to be U.S. Attorney in Connecticut in October of 2017. Is that what you are talking about?
Uh...that’s doesn’t answer the question I asked. There’s nothing in it about why he chose not to tell President Trump before he announced it publicly. Sorry, I just don’t see anything of that nature in that clip.
Sessions: "Knowing of the Presidents disagreement with my decision, I tendered my resignation in writing the morning after Robert Mueller was appointed as special counsel."
I'll name the source of the above quote. Jeff Sessions. Scroll to the top of this thread for more information.
So, not only do you not acknowledge what Sessions himself just said, but you prove the case against you further by citing the reportage at the time, despite the reporter of your piece being a CIA derp.
Either way, Sessions himself has confirmed the veracity of the 'rumor' out of his own mouth.
Seek another line of argument. You lost this one, and by your own hand.
Doh.
90% dont read article before piping off
“why he chose not to tell President Trump before he announced ”
Frankly, I don’t ‘get’ that.
Great standard of proof there, councilor.
Nothing in your post addresses the fact that he was unaware that his own subordinate was officially investigating him and that he then became aware once ensconced in the office. Stop leaving that out of the equation.
Remember the Scout's oath.
Right?
Its like logic, reason, and facts have no effect on them.
Maybe they're from planet Krypton.
Seniority has it’s recogtion in a sane medis.
We all know WHY he was under bogus investigation. That's not the issue. The issue is that he WAS UNDER FBI INVESTIGATION.
You really do need to understand that basic fact before you continue to open your yap.
You're starting to deserve a little name calling.
We have reached common ground.
Yay.
The better question is, what's up with his Mr. Durham?
Ask yourself that one. Update yourself.
Yes they did and yes it did.
And all the meantime Durham was at work and Trump was setting the table for true justice. Removing and inserting people in the DOJ, FBI, CIA, DNI, and the Judiciary, amongst others.
The fruits of which are being laid upon the table as we speak. So you rubes can travel back in time and criticize the how of how we got here all day long if you want.
Just try to not distract your know-it-all asses from enjoying the bounty before you and yet to come.
And take that frown and turn it upside down, while you're at it.
