“A Pandemic Does Not Suspend the Rule of Law - Courts are beginning to recognize that public health powers, while broad, are not a blank check.”

...but there are some folks out there (not experts or anything) that predict even small farm animals are not safe (that at some point it will be in the wildlife).

What is "not safe" mean? That they can get COVID-19?

And "wildlife" is a pretty big group. For example, there's no evidence that Aves class species can get COVID-19. If anyone knows of research that suggests otherwise, please pass along.

Latest gaslighting at Facebook today:

We’re paranoid about one another.

Also they’ve dragged us into the climate-science dispute: We’re relying on SCIENCE!!! just like those stupid climate-change people.

There are about 3 people I read on Facebook who haven’t succumbed to the voodoo doll of the hour.

And yet they probably wear their seatbelts when driving, have locks on their front doors, and have yearly mammograms/prostate exams.

There is one thing you can not put a price tag on, your health.

Yep. I watch the members of the Panda Farms leading the bros by the noses on different threads. You should be anti-totalitarian, anti-COVID and that is the patriotic response. These people are pro-PANDA. It shows in all the posts.

The more chaos there is in the free, democratic world, the better it strengthens the power of the CCP over its slaves. They can say, "See, that is what freedom and multiparty democracy gets you-- chaos, disorder, anarchy. We, the glorious Chinese Communist Party under the inspired leadership of Chairman Xi, give you ORDER in a world of chaos."

If I remember correctly, that one is located Seattle and used to brag about managing the assets of multi-billion dollar clients. What do you suppose are the chances that the lions share of his clients have last names like Zhou, Zhu, Zhang? I’ve heard there is a large population of filthy rich CCP expats in the Seattle and Vancouver BC area. It wouldn’t be surprising if that guy owes his livelihood to CCP blood money.

It’s the same case as here in Iowa, lots of “farmers” will blame Democrats, Republicans, Trump, or unions for their problems, but never against the chicoms— not when the lions share of their pruduction of pork and soybeans goes to feed the People’s Liberation Army.

Agreed.

All one has to do is read the bot farm posts on twitter. They will appear here on the Panda threads later.

I take a lesson from the UK during the blitz. They hunkered down for two weeks at the start. The blitz did not end, however people adapted and began living again.

The rejection of the virus via Panda propaganda has prevented adaption to those in denial. They are going to make the problem worse rather than fighting the real enemy. That enemy is China.

No kidding.

If I had testicles I’d be very leery of contracting this bug.

“Why is other people’s grandma’s getting near my face holes..where deadly germ are spewing out everywhere?”

You wear a mask everywhere but your strip bar? You do understand that this is a communicable disease, right? You give it to the stripper, she gives it to her mom because she has to live with her mom and support her child by herself because you won’t pay child support.

But if you wore a mask you wouldn’t be spewing virons everywhere and consequently you would not be directly and indirectly spreading the disease. You don’t wear a mask and you contaminate surfaces that somebody’s Grandma might come in contact with since she has to eat, too, just like everybody else, not to mention support her daughter who has to work in your strip club to support her child that you won’t pay child support for.

If you weren’t a solipsist turd you would realize that other people DO exist, and are REAL, and have to deal with the consequences of your antisocial behavior.

Do Grandmas walk through the same spaces you walk through? Do they shop at the same stores? Do their kids, or grandkids, play with your kids or grandkids? Do they use the same ATMs and gas stations? Insouciance is not a conservative value, PandaBro. In fact, it epitomizes leftist/liberal thinking and motivation, no matter what they claim.

He appears to be either drunk, senile or about 12 years old based on his grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Or an actual, for real, Panda agitator failing at being a troll.

Well, yes, when I do go back to work on-site — sometime within the next few months, I guess — I will take care to wipe off the desk, keyboards and computer mice when I take over from the previous shift.

That is gonna be a problem.

I just went to the post office at lunch time, it was mayhem out there. Back to full traffic and rudeness.

And we are already growing by 4-500 cases a day, I can't imagine what 2-3 weeks will bring.

The problem is, both the federal government and some state governments have really bungled their relief measures. PPP funding goes to large corporations, well-endowed colleges and large controversial organizations like Planned Parenthood, depriving numerous small businesses of the money they need to ride out the shutdowns. Meanwhile, some state unemployment agencies cannot seem to get the checks out to the millions of people who are laid off. This is a disaster. Meanwhile, with the massive layoffs, there are not as many people who can donate to charitable organizations.

I would have preferred to open up more gradually - not at Governor Hogan (MD) speed, which is ridiculously slow, but maybe at a rate that would have us fully open by labor day weekend — but the government bungling has made that totally unfeasible if we want to avoid a long-term slump. So let’s open up safely and swiftly, with the Trump Admin forcing states to open up businesses with significant out-of-state traffic — Interstate Commerce clause — if the U.S. Code allows for that.

Here is a site that normally tracks the re-purposing of drugs for cancer treatment that is now tracking all of the repurposed drugs and treatments undergoing trials for CV19. There are over 1,000 trials around the world. It’s an interesting reference if you are interested in a specific drug and want to find associated trials.

http://www.redo-project.org/covid19db/

One obvious problem with the data from China: China has trials in progress involving thousands of patients at Chinese hospitals, yet China claims to have only 82 active infections in their entire population. I wonder how that works?

In the last month or so, they are suspected to have started pushing the anti-quarantine and anti-PPE "liberty" movement.

While I personally don't agree with the current lockdown measures (they were supposed to be relative brief), I suspect the same thing w.r.t. the anti-mask movement. Chicomms are enjoying all these hostile people walking around stores calling mask wearers f***ing sheep.

Rush is a denier, and Hannity’s a loudmouth, although I think he’s got it right about the economic destruction.

Tucker Carlson pegged it precisely right — the Chicomms won, at least for this round. And with our politically motivated extended shutdowns, we basically did the heavy lifting for their win, and are continuing to help them. Let’s open up SAFELY and swiftly, so that we can win the next round. Government bungling has basically left vulnerable businesses, employees, and even vulnerable people — NY nursing home disasters, for example — on their own.
