My dad had cancer. They were getting ready to refer him for experimental pain treatments when he was killed by an embolism caused by one of the drugs he was taking.
I think he would have gladly chosen a corona death over the one he was facing.

Here’s a tip for you. FluBro is a bit of gallows humor. People know, as acknowledged upthread, that Covid-19 is not influenza. They also know that influenza has brought much worse pandemics, in 1918, 1957, and 1968, the latter two occurring during my lifetime. Yet none of those events triggered the same kind of lockdowns instituted across the board like today. We’re the authorities and medical experts pissing on the dead back then?
