In Africa, they still believe that if a man has sex with a 10 year old virgin, they will cure HIV/AIDS. They also believe that body parts of an albino cures AIDs. They actually kidnap albinos, kill them, and sell their body parts on a black market.

Many countries use urine to help in some diseases.Maybe the return of electrolytes made them feel better. Either way....medic man goes first.

When penicillin was in short supply...like when people started using it...they used to collect the urine from the patient...and separate out the penicillin and use it again.
Check out “antimony pill” on Wikipedia.
M.Desai...ex prime minister of India in late 70’s was a proponent of urine therapy.

As far as medical expertise goes, I’d rank Doctors of Islamic medicine at about the same level as Witch Doctors.
