Today Paris is closed, New York is closed, Berlin is closed, Delhi is closed, Mumbai is closed, Tokyo is closed, the world's major economic and political centers are closed, but Beijing and Shanghai are open. No Coronavirus effect is seen in either cities. There were only a few cases but the virus had no real effect on Beijing and Shanghai.

Or…China’s government has simply decided that their economy is worth more than the lives of a few people.
The Chinese government has decided that closing their country for months would be too costly.
They simply did the math and decided that they will open the country back up for business, tell whatever lies are needed to quell the fear of the population and the world and cover up whatever needs to be covered up after the fact.
Yep. And at a bare minimum, the Chicom control freak government that knows -everything- happily turned it’s head when people who bought fever reducers were getting on planes. It was deliberate. And it was done by Red China, in concert with Dems and our media for the sole purpose of removing Trump.
Not saying it’s not bad, but it still is nothing like this years flu. But we crashed the entire economy. He is making the best of it and coming out well, but they boxed him in well. If he didn’t pretend that this lockdown was needed when the Dem governors started in with it, he would have been responsible every time someone died out here.
This could have been done with ANY flu like disease and the democrat attack on the economy could have been launched every single year in the last decade at least.
Neither scenario should be dismissed.
Maybe they mixed the vaccine in last year’s flu shots, everywhere but Wuhan, because they needed some sacrificial population to cultivate a group of carriers, or just to give them some plausible cover story, that it was an accidental release.
This won’t go over well, but our own DS is plenty evil enough to have had a part in it. Ft Detrick —> Wuhan?

This will backfire on China. No country will want to do business with them and they’ll pull all their companies out of China. China will be ostracized.

I believe that China was willing to sacrifice 100,000-250,000 people to contain this virus in the Wuhan area.
Nothing got out of there into China once the government leaders realized what they were dealing with. They were expendable for the greater good of the state.
That is the difference. The CCP were willing to kill anybody that got sick that was not a good little commie.
They allowed Chinese people to fly back to Italy, USA and elsewhere but not to other places in China. They closed the roads, rail lines and inter China travel.
IF Trump had declared Martial Law as soon they he found out what we were dealing with and was willing to let every poor person in the NYC and Seattle area DIE then our exposure rate would have been much smaller too. IF he had shut down ALL air travel, train travel, and other interstate travel on March 1st, then our caseload would be significantly less.
However, we are not a TOTALITARIAN DICTATORSHIP. China is.
I get so angry at times because friends and family are scared out of their minds about this. They firmly believe the WHO and NIH and think POTUS is a darned liar.
I give up trying to convince them otherwise.
Various labs have been working on SARS related viruses for a while. Its within the realm of possibility that they have developed a vaccine but only the more equal pigs would have gotten that if it exists. More likely those of the party merely prestocked and bunkered down.
The government wouldn't want the commoner to have the vaccine if it does exist. One of the resources China has in abundance is people. There are too many to give them all jobs especially if the future Trumps in other countries begin pulling out all of their manufacturing also. Losing a few million isn't a problem and is likely preferred and might be just the motivation needed to get many to flee to other countries.
Why would China want citizens to flee? To colonize. One Belt, One Road (Belt and Road Initiative, 21st Century Maritime Silk Road) seeks to connect all of Asia, Europe, and Africa and force all trade to be done in Yuan. This puts China in control of most of the worlds production and works toward undermining the dollar as the worlds reserve currency.
What does that have to do with subjects fleeing China? Just as American liberals seek to bring in foreigners in part to boost the tax base European globosocialists seek to do the same. If the population of a nation is decimated and cant support the full flow of taxes to the central government then where are they going to get more people? Its not like they can run over to Walmart and pick up more, or can they? China to the rescue.
At the end of the 19th century, the Chinese government realized that the overseas Chinese could be an asset, a source of foreign investment and a bridge to overseas knowledge. Those settling elsewhere still tend to see themselves as Chinese first and while there may be questions about their legal citizenship there is no doubt by those in the party that these people are a colonizing force to be harnessed.
At that point China then controls most of the world. What happens next? Why would liberals and free traitors promote the "inevitability" of the rise of China? What would they have to gain? They become the recipients of Chinese barbarian management and you become part of the world wide slave state of China.
One would hope that is the case. I personally try to NOT buy anything made in China. However, many times now there is not other choice other than to not buy anything.
For example, like many folks working from home I am in the middle of a Honey Do project. A dining room do over. We removed wall paper. Filled holes, primed, painted, etc.
We went to the local electrical lighting retailer(NOT HD or Lowes) to purchase a new ceiling light and matching wall sconces here in NH. With the exception of some hand made fixtures made in VT that started in excess of $700 all the other brands were made in China. I asked if there were any not made there. The salesman stated no. So, we bought some from Kitchner made in China.
...and never forward these type of emails. They effectively act as a virus (worm) and clog up every system they become part of which is usually the intent of the twits that originate these things.
