Only a very special person would find reason to blame Trump for either the china virus or it’s consequensus and all of them would never have voted for him anyway.

This is a recession but there is no way the libs can pin it on Trump after he gave us the best economy in our history.

Although what you say about getting elected during a recession is or was true, it will not hold this time due to the very clear circumstances surrounding it.

Yes fearful sheep. It’s shocking. I agree, this is serious, even probably more serious than we know since we’re not being told everything, but we didn’t shut down the country because of some random virus. Trump is far from stupid. However, I’ve doubted him a couple times during his briefings, thinking he’s being manipulated or whatever, by Dr. Doom (hillary lover, gates foundation crony, life long government worker)and schoolmarm, voice raising, admonishing the American people scarf wearing liberal Birx. But the other day, I saw him give her a rope to either hang onto or hang herself with and Trump is so far from stupid. He’s said many times what this was to those who bothered to listen.

He’s said many times that the cure can’t be worse than the disease and after 3 weeks, I started to think we were heading there. That we were making the cure worse than the disease. Then again tonight, he said, the next week or week and a half will be brutal but then better and we will open the country again. I’m hopeful but pragmatic. If we don’t open the country by May 1 then we are screwed.

I believe he knows exactly what’s going on and this will all come to light soon.

I work in a school so I’ve been off since March 13. Doing basically nothing, a whole lot less than I do while at work, still getting paid and receiving benefits. My husband has been working out of state on travel, in his office the next town over, and at home this entire time. Two of my adult daughters have only seen minimal reduction to their paychecks but so far still getting paid and full benefits. One son in law, a physical therapist is now on hourly pay and that is HUGE, a huge reduction to income. My youngest, works mainly remotely for a bank and is continuing to do that but with a reduction in hours but she’s a senior in college and her graduation has been cancelled (no refunds yet, lol)and living at home and online classes now.

Another daughter is a BSN in Philly at Penn. A couple weeks ago, two of her scheduled shifts were forced push meaning she was scheduled but capacity was so low that they asked her to stay home and take PTO (which is different than Vacation time). She gets paid but loses PTO but not vacation time. Then last week, it changed to taking forced Vacation time when they force push. She’s a cardio-thoracic nurse. Anyway, the other day, she was told she’s being cross trained for ICU, which is great since she’ll always have a job. She’s already had Covid patients on her C-T floor so it’s not a big deal.

So she goes to work, and now changes clothes entering and leaving, and comes home.Yet has to use her mask for two consecutive shifts which is so against former hospital protocol, lol. Follows all the protocol at work and again at home. Lives here with me, college senior, dad. We’re all good so far. Today she said “I don’t believe anything the CDC says about anything anymore.”

I stayed home during the 2nd week...it was brutal. A real pain in the ass. But the first week home I went to the store daily to make sure we were stocked up with essentials. And the third week, making sure we continued with our grocery needs. Wore a mask and gloves this weekend and yeah that ain’t happening again. I live with someone who still has to go into work and travel for work, and a nurse who works with many infected patients. My grocery store shopping isn’t scaring me, lol.

I’m angry because many government officials, at least here in the NJ area, are taking away our liberty and it’s barely a blip because “scary whatever virus.” Nobody in this family will ever go to the hospital knowing once we enter we wouldn’t see any of our family.”Scary whatever virus” isn’t scary enough to close public transportation in NYC or Philly so how’s that social distancing going again?

I was behind a man, 6 ft per instructions, in line at the grocery store today. He harassed the check out/cashier lady about everything under the sun. Interrogating her about how many times the pad is wiped and what precautions were being followed. Had enough and told him if he’s so concerned then he should stay the fuck home and allow the rest of us to continue to our lives in this police state.

Seriously, people who are so scared should stay the fuck home.

I’ve been going on walks every day, 5 mile walks in my neighborhood every day for 3 weeks. Week 1, barely saw anyone. Week 2, more people walking, saying hi. Week 3, even more people. Today, the entire neighborhood was out walking, bicycling, playing ball, cars on the road. Many of us are done staying home.

And anyone who reports us can kiss my royal Irish/Italian ass, lol.
