Droopy, thank you, from last Thursday’s grocery excursion. How are you this lovely evening?

Sat at work wondering what the future holds.
The Sun has gone down. This helps a lot with the quarantine business ,less daylight to drive you nuts.

Amazed re: product availability in Wal Mart superstore last Thursday. The poor paper-product shelf stocker looked like I was getting on her last nerve because I wandered into the aisle out of curiosity. I feel very sorry for the employees who are considered essential. At least they’re getting paid.

Afternoon!
The boys have been using my PC to do math. The computer they’re supposed to use needs a widget replaced.

Quite!
And with out, I’m taking Frank and Kathleen for an outdoor exertion (over their objections).

As a species we should have moved on from this thousands of years ago. If species actually evolved, we would be counter-evolutionary because we have too much compassion.
Of course, if species actually evolved we would not be at the top of the food chain. Everything else out there is faster, stringer, meaner, or sneakier than we are. None of them would have allowed our brains to develop to the level it has.

Good morning! That’s a good age for a kitteh. My Shannon is 14, too, but she’s saving herself to power through the next decade.
Sort of like my mother ...

I wouldn’t say it’s the stupidity, I’d say it’s the stubbornness. We think our brains are more capable than they are and we stubbornly hold to that opinion despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Looks like kitteh has figured out this “shelter in place” thing.

If I had that furniture in my house, I’d be considering sheltering in a tent in the woods. Gah!
The Overnight People have driven me over the edge. I’ve turned the Spanish Christian pop music up to “This will damage your hearing,” and I’m having a Class 2 meltdown and cleaning the floors.
