With Spam instead of ham, it sounds more Hawai’ian than Hawai’ian.
Homemade sauce, with anchovies. Homemade crust with teff.
It was yummy, I was going to save you a slice, but all pau...
That’s kind of you to un-offer/inform, Bob, but I’ve decided the rails will wait until I move to St George. I’ll get them before I move so I can set the bed up fresh, in a room devoid of furniture.
I checked with Wayfair online, but I will check with some local mattress stores.
57°, N wind at 23 mph, “real feel” of 53° and I’m off to wash clothes.
Unnngh. That wind!
Good morning.
Yes, indeed, “that wind.” This valley is at the mouth of a canyon (Zion Park) and wind increases in speed as it reaches the mouth. While I was in the community room, things began to hit the walls, roof and one door. Pieces of trees, no doubt.
But I’m done with washing. I just have to hang the clothes, now, and I’m done for the day. I had to put on a long-sleeved shirt this morning, and added a jacket as I headed for the laundry room.
Floofy sez, “whatchadoin?”
Good morning!
I think it must be Monday all over the place. I was so tired yesterday, I couldn’t concentrate on much of anything. So I didn’t. I hope today is better. I have 10 days to do what I need to do...
Good morning. Congratulations on being done the wash. I have some in the dryer, and I called the yutes a few minutes early so they’d “have time” to put their clean clothes away before breakfast.
After I got the wet clothes hanging to dry, I finally laid out my clothes for the trip. A bit later, when the back pain subsides a bit, I’ll get them ready for the Space Bags, then get them into the suitcase.
The temp has dropped so it now feels like 48°. Of course, we can’t hope for this kind of weather for when I get back so I don’t have to drive with the heater on to get home from St George. :o|
I have some copies to make but I’m not quite ready for that, yet.
We’re getting some weather out of Tropical Storm Cristobal: rain on and off for two or three days. If it’s not too heavy, it will be good for the gardens. Meanwhile, it’s extremely humid, and the cats keep getting wet and blaming me.
Poor cats! Of course, I understand why they blame you, but you could inform them that it’s Darksheare’s Fault.
I almost wish I had a garden, but my body says its a good thing I don’t because I’d be a serial plant killer once again.
Welp, I just started to make copies, and its a long process, as I have to make four of each sheet. It’s the only way I can get most of this stuff at least started before I leave. The genealogies have to be done individually because they’re for different branches of the family. And one for me!
My stubborn Favorite Son thinks its OK to have it all online and I can’t seem to impress upon him the fact that it may always be there, but he won’t always have access to it. So he’ll get my copy. Not to mention the fact that I have documents that aren’t online.
Good morning. Happy Monday.
I have made it out to Ohio and back. My daughter says that the Covid thing is being pretty much shrugged at in Ohio, but here in New York it feels much more like a dystopian future movie.
We’re at the “meh” stage here for the WuFlu, and I’m very happy about it because I really do want to go get a cheeseburger! When I warm up that is...
I’m all Meh myself. It can’t be dangerous if we can all go out and riot in the streets, and it doesn’t matter.
Back from a walk around the neighborhood. People are putting out Bulk Rubbish, but we’ll wait until tomorrow morning, since there’s more rain in the forecast.
Friday night, I'd just got back
I had my eyes shut, was dreaming about the past
I thought about you while the radio played
Should've got moving, some reason I stayed
I started drifting to a different place
I realized I was falling off the face of your world
And there was nothing left to bring me back
I'm a million miles away
A million miles away
I'm just a million miles away
And there's nothing left to bring me back today
Took a ride and went downtown
The streets were empty, there was no one around
All the faces that we used to know
And all the places we used to go
Yesterday we had rain, hail, snow, winds, dust, clouds, sunshine, but no hurricanes nor tornadoes nor earthquakes...
Cheer up, Nully...Maybe next time! ;o])
Oh, crikey. I’m so tired of being cold! There is so much debris on the ground and sidewalks from the wind, it isn’t funny. From a distance, it looks like a new strain of grass.
We don’t have anything like Bulk Rubbish day, here. In Vegas if you have something large, you have to call them ahead and let them know what it is and what day you’re going to set it out. Here, they just put a large capacity “pod” in the back parking lot of a Stake Center for Deseret Industries. When it’s full, they’ll come and get it and a month or so later, they’re bring another one out. This state has always been good at recycling.
Darn, what did you do to deserve THAT?
Your church is a paragon of organization.
