W00t!
You could be, because all I’ve ever seen is a screen name, so who’s to tell?
It’s going to be 108° in St George, and except for having to drive home in it, I’d love to have an excuse to be there to soak some of it up. The best I could do was walk over to the community room to get what mail there was.
I encountered a very surly resident. At first, I thought she was hearing impaired, and then I thought she was English impaired, and finally she offered a grunted response that could have been anything besides “good morning.”
There's one sure test. What color socks do I have on? Of course, that can only prove something if you're wrong. If you're right, you could have just guessed well.
If you’re sensible like me you’ll be wearing white socks to go with your most comfortable sneakers.
However, if you’re a figment of my imagination I may have to employ you in a story or two. None of my figments get away with lollygagging around without being productive.
So how do you feel about having a super-power or two? It could take some work to make you interesting, you know. I’ll need a bit of return on my investment.
Let’s see, works in NYC, (so-to-speak) has a geeky job, may have to dress up most days, so I’d say your socks are either black or navy. Not brown. And they go up your leg so your legs don’t show above them when you pull the pant-leg up so they don’t have the “knee bulge” when you sit for long times.
OK? :o]
I like being in you stories, but no one who knows me knows me in your books except you. But it’s OK. Some people go a lifetime without even being a fantasy, so I feel lucky to have Honorable Mention! ;o]
“Dis mai place! You no come in!”
Good morning.
The shower has been had and next is a letter to Charlie because it’s Friday. I also have to revise my budget slightly, but that won’t take long. It’s past/time for the DD and I need to be ready for it, so I’ll know how much I can take to CO. The day is coming soon! Less than three weeks.
There was a small moth in my kitchen this morning, and with bug lights at both doors, I don’t know how he got in. I hate creepy things.
Good morning. Lots of rain again last night, but it looks like we will have some sun this morning. I have a sinus headache. Also laundry in the dryer. Carry on, I’ll be back later!
Sorry about your sinus headache. It’s probably from the high front that’s coming in. Mint tea and lots of sympathy!
Thank you. I’ll use garlic - it also keeps vampires away.
I used to tell my late sister, who loved raw onions, that I only ate onions in self-defense. These days, I feel the same way about garlic. ;o]
I hope it helps and I hope the headache goes away soon!
I like onions (raw or cooked) too.
Happy Friday, everyone.
Last Friday in May. Whoodathunkit.
Among other bipeds.
Good morning, ArGee. Happy Friday!
This has been the longest month!
Onions don’t like me these days, unless they’re cooked. I’ve never been able to eat onions and pickles on a burger, but both my kids love pickles. I always kept a large jar of Vlasic pickles in the fridge for them.
Onion rings are awesome! So is sweet relish, which I love on hot dogs.
Happy Friday to you, as well! I was commenting in my letter to Charlie about it being the last Friday in May and it seems as if there was a first Friday, and a last Friday, but nothing in between.
Yes, I can certainly understand this being a long month for you. I’m happy to just be here to mark the days!
I deeply dislike pickles.
*sigh*
On the real-life front, I need to get music organized for Sunday. Although I wish we were allowed to have our whole choir, rather than just Asuncion and me, it is easier to plan for just the two of us.
I don’t know if we’re ever going to get back to regular church services. I saw a notice this morning by one of the members that there is an upsurge in cases of COVID19 in Washington County, and I can only take that to mean that there is now an influx of tourists.
I still won’t take any precautions because of the fact that CFIDS makes my immune system work overtime. Which helps to explain why I’m so tired. It’s called “up-regulated.” I’ve gotten maybe two colds in the last 25 years but no flu. But I always feel like I’m coming down with one or the other!
