Sorry to hear about the avian dispute! A few degrees of separation are helpful in a lot of relationships ;-).

Shannon is going to the vet for her vaccinations today. They have “curbside service,” so I just drop her off in the Unacceptable Receptacle and wait - or come back after going by Lowe’s for a new ceiling fan for the front room. I won’t get to catch up with Young Doctor Kaylor. I suppose he can’t be that young anymore, since he’s been our vet since we moved here in 2003.

The other alternative to Camilla and Gonzo would be another male. That would be the ideal situation, but I don’t have the money for it. If it’s to be done, it should be done before I leave so I have a chance to watch them. It would not be good to wait until the last minute and come back to find chaos.

I’ll be leaving for Walmart in a few minutes. and then will come home and watch the last DVD before I have to return them today.

I would stay with the current population, if I were you. Among other issues, you never know when you’ll hear about a vacancy in St. George and want to bug out tan pronto.

Birds do better in flocks. The way it is now, the pecking order is confined. There is room in the flight cage for at least two more. At one time years ago, I had five parakeets. They thrived.

And since this cage is on wheels, bugging out isn’t a problem. St George is probably a year away, anyway. Old folks and wait lists...

It’s gloomy again today, but I’ll try not to let it bother me. Too much. I’m going to the library in a few minutes and will stop at Sinclair and get a chicken strip. I don’t know how many DVDs will be waiting for me, but that’s OK, because I have other things to do.
