Six bits. Relatively expensive, compared to the cost of a shave and a haircut.

The Washington County Library waived all late fees for the duration.

That was good, because it allowed me to watch a couple of DVD more than once. :o])

Union (and Mecklenburg) froze due-dates when they closed the library. I must have owed this .75 from last year. My haircuts cost a lot more.

Awww..a pair of floofs for Friday!!

Good morning.

The shower is done, but the bed isn’t made, as its the Maid’s Day Off.

So, now I need to get busy with the letter-writing, and try to get them out today. A book will be heading your way, as well!

Good morning. I had a shower yesterday.

I love a book! I know it’s not the history of Syrian Antioch from the Seleucids to the Arab Invasion, but I’m sure I’ll love it.

Books is books!! What not to love. Its hardbound so that helps!

I used Endust on the kitchen floor the other day when I dusted to make sure I caught most of the little feathers, and then I took the trash out. I came back in to find almost as many feathers as I swept up. I’m going to get another seed guard. GAH!!!

Do you read any fiction? I guess I need to send pics so I’ll know, huh? ;o]

I do read fiction. Most recently, I read “Beau Geste” and “Ben-Hur.” Syrian Antioch is the setting of key events in “Ben-Hur,” which is why I’ve taken a sudden interest.

There’s a book out there. I can get it from Alibris.com when I feel like it, but I’d like to check The Book Lady first, on “Support a local business” grounds.

It’s overcast and cold again, but not too cold for me to have some ice cream for Second Breakfast. It’s 55° and the wind is from the east. *shudder*

I need to install the video instructions for the Dragon program, and maybe tomorrow, I can get started on the personal history again. Maybe. After I finish a letter I started yesterday.

Oh, yes...your book is on the way. Or will be as soon as they collect the mail from the outside drop. Charlie’s letter is in there as well. He hasn’t called lately, so I have no clue how he’s doing.

It’s warm here today. I should really do something useful! Find Kathleen and work on the kitten book she’s reading, I guess.

You should read to her from Cat Psalms. That’s almost as soothing as having a cat.

I’ll do something today. I thought of making a cake, but I’m not sure I want to make the accompanying mess. I don’t like doing dishes. It hurts to stand in one place for very long.

DP will play the guitar for her. She’s grown quite demanding about her music therapy.

I should probably play more music. Heaven knows, I have enough CDs!

My Real Brother and his wife just called to sing that song to me. He said he was trying to sing soprano. We had a nice visit, and I guess all the kids will be there to visit. That will be so much fun, to see them all!
