I hope you have a good night and feel much improved tomorrow.
No limits is good limits ... HUGS
Some days are good and some are not so good, and even though I complain about aches and pains and whatever else comes to mind, I’m grateful for every single day I have been given. There is always something new to learn and something more to be grateful for.
Now, I’m going to try and write a letter!
Tiny little basket for a tiny little floof!
Good morning.
I’m not getting much done in the letter-writing department, but I’ll keep working at it. It would appear I’m somewhat of an airhead this morning.
But the day has just started, so... ;o]
*tagline*
Good tagline.
Give the day what you can, and let the rest go.
I was listening to some talks. It’s nice to be able to listen, disagree (or agree) and move on. So its getting light outside, and I’m still not functioning at my best. However, this may be the best I’ll get for the day, so I’ll take it.
The laundry still had to be folded, and the bed made, so I took care of those, and if I feel up to it, the dishes will be the next task. Though I’ll sit for a while, because my energy seems to be non-existent, now. Funny how that works. :o|
HUGS .....
Backatcha, NtI!
And more to your wife!
I went for an outdoor excursion. Now I’m back to do more housework and attempt to motivate the yutes.
Some days, it’s hard to motivate yutes. They don’t respond well unless there’s incentive. ;o]
Incentives are in short supply these days. I’m not feeling very incented to continue clearing Drama Queen’s stuff, either. However, she said she might come by tomorrow for some of her things, so I need to get it done.
I need to focus on the goal: the room change!
You could always assign the room to the dragons.
I started on the Codicil to my Will today. Well, not started, actually, because I had started it several years ago, but since my two children are, erm, “competitive,” I figure to avoid the bitterness and hurt that was present after both my parents’ deaths, I want things to be spelled out.
So I got a couple of paragraphs done, which basically includes the disposition of my books, paintings and shawls. I still have to decide what to do with the kitchenware, but I’m leaning towards grandkids for that. No fights. Of course, I could split the dishes and flatware down the middle... and I may do that. The Blue Willow design is what the kids knew when they were growing up, so why not?
Anyway, it’s kinda fun to think about what they would like to have of mine. Something productive...
Much better to have it laid out in advance, even if they end up doing trades.
My brother and I, fortunately, are not competitive.
I think the only time these two will see eye-to-eye is when I’m gone. There was so much damage done by Igor, that ended up many times with a Mexican Stand-Off - he and his daughter against me and my son. Some things, even the adoptions didn’t heal.
So things need to be spelled out to make sure that things are divided equally. I will need the wisdom of Solomon for it, for sure.
At least you won’t be in the middle if there’s a dispute!
Exactly so! It was hard enough when they were little, but now, well. I’m too old to be a referee!
Union County Library is opening tomorrow! Woo-hoo! I don’t want anything in particular from Union County Library, but it’s the principle of the thing.
I’ll have to check my account to see whether we have any books out. I don’t think we do.
The answer is, we don’t have anything out, but we do owe them 75 cents.
