Very interesting thoughts, Bob. I never invented anything before this, so I don’t figure I’m likely to do it now. If we’re subject to Inertia through the summer, though, I may decide to get serious about Greek.
Two for the price of one!!
Good morning.
I overslept. My bad. But I guess it was necessary. I had a bit of insomnia last night, so sleeping in isn’t surprising. I’ve started to keep a log again, so I can keep closer track of my symptoms. Unfortunately, like most paper stuff that I had carted around with me for 20+ years, the CFIDS logs were among the ones that went to the shredder. I need them now for reference. *sigh* (Hindsight = 20/20 vision)
Anyway, I have a letter to write and then some genealogy to work on and then, I can relax for a bit. I have to merge files, reflecting my Favorite Son and Daughter, and that’s the part I’m not sure of. However, I’ll do it, no matter how many times it takes.
So how was the tree felling episode? All safely carted off?
What are your plans for today? Is everyone meandering off to Mass again?
Good morning. The tree-felling went off without a hitch, and all the debris was carted off in a pickup truck. DP is going to play the guitar for Asuncion, Ruth, and Lola today. I’ll help them set up and then probably drive up to Mint Hill and leave some things for a Food Bank collection.
I slept better than usual, with no horrific dreams. I think I was drinking too much tea during the day!
The “Lenore Moser” is this article is one of my awesome Idaho nieces.
And something else in the Spirit-Lifting mode:

How cute!
(Working on a full house, I see...)
I’m relieved that your dreams weren’t horrific. I hate when that happens. I just spent the last hour looking for info I knew I had but couldn’t bring out of the names I needed to use.
And there it all was...scattered among three plastic banker box-type filing cases. Now, I just have to sift it and get it all in one place so I can glean the information I need, then print up the rest in varying forms for three separate family extensions. *sheesh* me and my bright ideas...
I just read an article that your dreams might be as a result of being in an environment that isn’t normal to you. It would appear that a lot of people are experiencing strange dreams during this “pandemic.”
And this happened last week! Wish I had been there!!
I was feeling much better for a while, when everything stopped. Now I’ve got stuff like dreaming about chopping up cats with an axe.
Well, even that gory dream is one of “opposites.” It indicates that whatever their purpose, you’ll defeat your “detractors.”
I used to worry about my dreams a lot, because with CFIDS, nothing about dreaming is “normal.” Then I realized that a lot of the worst ones were “opposites.”
When your life is in upheaval, especially the emotional kind, your dreams act as a release of things that your mind is having a hard time processing. (My own experiences, of course!) So just let the dreams come, and I’ll try to help with the worst ones.
Well, that's good!
I thought my subconscious was really tired of getting up every hour to let Jake in or out of the bedroom.
Epic Fail is mowing the lawn. We’re supposed to get heavy rain tonight and tomorrow.
No, your dreams have more to do with your emotional state, rather than anything else. (Unless one is chronically ill.) Rather than allow some parts of your brain to become insane, your dreams protect it by giving vent to the things you can’t solve in your waking moments.
That’s the short version, of course, but dreams are good for you, even if they are disturbing.
Afternoon. We had Mass this afternoon with no disasters. Then I took a nap with Jake, who stayed in his bed the whole time instead of going in and out. Maybe he read my mind ...
This is the day I finally get the mattress pad and pillow covers washed, so I’m already exhausted. I’m off...
See ya in about 90 minutes or so. ;o]
Good morning. Good luck!
