And exactly what do you know about it that makes it so much worse than the Flu - except all the panic that’s been generated...
A lot of these “experts” are similar to the Global Warming scientist “experts”...the ranges of how transmittable and how lethal it is are large enough to set off alarm bells - the use of highly varying numbers as parts of “predictability models” is another alarm bell...especially since the “predictive models” have not had time to be vetted - but we automatically assume the worst possible case from the models to be “settled science”.
It had over 6 weeks to start spreading before anyone became aware of it (outside China)...the infected here are .001% of the number the Flu has infected in similar time frame...unless it gets a huge surge and starts taking the lives of people inside the current “highly safe” range, we ares till a few hundred times more likely to die of the Flu at this point in time...but TP and other supplies are sold out to the point where some folks are trying to prep for Armageddon...the fear and panic cause self-replicating reactions and force other entities to take actions not normal for the threat because of the pressure of panic and fear throughout.
Kind of ironic - we know that the Deep State and others use fear as a way to steer and control the people - we had the commie/nuke war threat until the Berlin Wall came down then it wasn’t viable anymore and up pops Globull Warming, which has many in fear that we’re gonna destroy the Earth even as we do less harm than past generations and none of the data actually supports anything but the earth’s climate and Mother Nature do not now, and never did have a “balance” and even if they did, we have no idea of how to maintain one or ‘fix’ things...all our efforts end up causing more harm....the coronavirus scare is no different - the panic-induced knee-jerking will cause more harm than the virus.
Folks who would be up in arms if the government decided to tell them they could not move freely are now begging that same government to lock them, and everyone else, down....I’d wager if, after doing that, the story ‘evolved” they would also go meekly to barb-wire surrounded camps/tent cities because the “latest info” said that’s the only way to stop it.
Even though we know that they use fear to guide and control us, so many can’t see it through the red haze of insane panic....they not only welcome the government controls, they beg for them...
And the fear mongers will try to leverage it...
Reminds me of a saying, by Ben Franklin, that many FReepers, who are now acting insane, used to showcase:
“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
You stay safe too - It’s time to pick up a flat of water and would normally be getting a 3-pak of Kleenex and a bottle of splashiness bleach for the white laundry - gonna put my extra mag in my pocket because people have bought up a lot of items that should never be in extra demand for even the worst The Great Dem Hope Virus can do...so if I find some, it might be contested.
