I suppose everybody’s surrounding Trump is tested and retested. I just worry about him. Especially with all the evil around. Maybe he also needs a food taster!

The slicer works wonderfully now. We took it all apart and got all the bread crumbs and dried dough off of every little part of it. Looks like it probably hasn’t been cleaned since it was brand new 20 years ago. And then we put it back together wrong and it didn’t work. I don’t know what magic heavy did but he can usually fix most anything. So now it’s working! We were worried the blades might need replacing which would be a couple hundred dollars. But it seems to be okay.
Your old farmhouse and kitchen sound lovely. Where was this at? Send any pictures along if you have some. I really wanted a farmhouse when we moved here but alas, none were for sale.

That’s the way hubby told me to do it. And apparently the realtor agreed. But I’m stubborn and wanted more yellow. There’s not very many exposed walls in this kitchen. Send a picture along if you have one, I might consider repainting. Now that I’ve been outvoted.

Do you have trouble digesting other things, like tough vegetables or other grains?

Yes it’s extremely extravagant. But I love having a basement kitchen. When it’s too hot to turn the oven on upstairs or to deal with canning, I’ll do it downstairs. That way I can have a fiasco in the basement kitchen and still cook dinner in the upstairs kitchen. Oops, what am I thinking? It’d be so much better just to go out to eat! Not these days of course.

I’m pretty uncoordinated with knives. Someone wants gave me one of those pretty colorful sets of super sharp knives. I had Band-Aids on every finger. So yeah I’m a little nervous about this slicer as well. Thinking about getting a spatula or something to use so I’m always at a distance from it.
Glad to know that bread slicer is clean and up and running.
My old home was in the same place I live now but, unfortunately it burnt in ‘88.
Back to watching “Red” who I like much better than Nasty or Schmucky!

Seems like most of the boxes of breakfast cereals say whole grain on them. That might be the issue. They sneak in whole grain and then cover the taste with more sugar.
Ditto that. Add immigrants, both legal and illegal.
