I think that the establishment Dems certainly are looking hard at old Joe’s VP choice. Worst case for them is that Trump wins in November. They think that’s pretty likely, so they don’t want to put up one of the younger candidates like Butigeg (or however the heck you spell it). Biden’s the sacrificial lamb in that case. Maybe though he pulls it off. He’s 77 now and 81 by term’s end so it would be no surprise if he doesn’t live to see 2024. Even if he does, would anyone even question a 25th Amendment proceeding claiming he’s mentally incapacitated? Old Joe’s VP almost certainly would end up POTUS and would be the Dems candidate in 2024.
And Gabbard is hanging around because . . . ?

As Mark Steyn said today Bernie is a Ben and Jerry revolutionary. He will roll over and play dead, He totally lacks the killer instinct.
Bernie used to attack millionaires until he became one. Now, he only targets billionaires for his scorn.

Yep. Plus she appeals most to moderate Democrats. That would tend to weaken Biden. And the DNC has decided that Biden must get the nomination.
Well Biden is the only Dem who can get that Senate seat back for the Dems. He proved that on Super Thursday. It helped that turnout was low, though, because half of the voters were killed by guns in the last decade. Maybe there were just not enough dog-faced pony soldiers left to propel Bernie to victory.
Now that’s funny.
If Bernie is not in the process of taking a dive he will nail Biden about his Ukrainian, Chinese corruption during the next debate. If Bernie gives him a pass again we’ll know Bernie is there just negotiating a bigger payoff.
Ah, he’s probably just looking for Joe to buy him another house just like Canckles did four years ago.

Not a chance. Dems will be all fired up to GOTV to vote against Trump. Just like we were with Hillary on the ballot.

Looks that way. I don’t understand why she is still in the race. I don’t think she ever reached more than 5%.
