Yes, of course. Just pre-filter the river water with cloth or whatever.
My local CVS is expecting some in April. I had to go to one in Frederick, MD to get the shot. It was administered by a cute young pharmacist who was half my age, unfortunately (sigh).
But you need to read up on what ceramic filtration does and does not catch. It doesn’t catch chemicals, for example.
Thanks Steve, I will order one. The river is just in front of my house. The water plant is just down river from me so this has to be a good water source.
Hand sanitizer sold out at the 2 stores I checked today too. Hubby went to one more for light bulbs and got the past 3 on the shelf. He’s getting filet tonight. Lol.
Tri tip here tonight! LOL. Wife just ran to Costco for a few things for dinner, she’s going to check on hand sanitizer, etc while there. Thanks to God, we typically have stayed stocked up on essentials.
Yeah man. All you freepers who say this is over blown hype, send your N95 masks to your local police, fireman and hospital.
We have too. My biggest worry is that my elderly mother has 4 doctor appointments next month. Not sure what to do about that. She has to go but it’s the last place either of us need to be right now.
Sams club two boxes 400 total for around $13
Uh oh. The Rush listeners have been mysteriously positioned to think N95 masks are a joke, when they actually could increase their chances of not getting this virus by 80 %. Almost like it was planned that way.
*** Trumps comments come after the news agency Reuters reported the White House was considering imposing entry restrictions with Mexico to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, although there are only 3 confirmed cases there. The United States, on the other hand, has confirmed 66 cases of the illness. ***
Also, Mexico, as of several days ago, had done over 5,000 random tests of people displaying signs of respiratory illness. How many tests had US done 3 days ago?
I listen to Rush, but always stay stocked up!
Advice can change, but as of now, theres no guidance telling Americans to wear face masks, either the basic surgical face masks or the N95 respirators that health care workers wear to treat infectious diseases.
We dont have nearly enough masks for the healthcare workers alone, much less citizens. Thats why they discourage and ridicule us using them. If the healthcare workers dont have them, they wont go to work.
Got mine over the past 3 weeks. Had to get extra for crew. Gonna be interesting to see restrictions on public gatherings after the sheep are brought up to speed. Masks required ? Like in China ?
Started seeing more masks during my last flight. Saw a few folks with them at the store today. Drip, drip...
Well I stopped listening after he said exercise is not required to lose weight cause when he wakes up in the morning his stomach is flatter. Lol.
Wash your hands before you go in, and when you come out of the appointments.
You and your mom should be fine. Unless you are somewhere with cases of COVID you will more likely to get a Rhinovirus.
Be clean, not scared.
One of the things I heard about Singapore was random testing at every Dr Appointment. It allows them to identify clusters before they break out.
Expensive buy I would think it would be hugely beneficial.

Cheaper in the long run.
