Filters “can” in a pinch be cleaned and reused (probably with reduced efficiency), but belts, brake pads, etc., not so much.
Quite a bit of “critical” stuff could be ramped up, but it might take martial law (possibly including a lot of “no liability” clauses for products rammed into production quickly) to focus production where most critical. Ugh.

You definitely could be right. The video that was truly frightening was the “Wuhan at night” video, but some people were saying that it was actually an orchestrated protest. If it was, it was very well done.

A family member of a U.S. service member has been diagnosed with coronavirus -- officially called COVID-19 -- in South Korea, as the number of cases in that country continues to explode.

Rumors are that 1,000 Wuhan police are infected. That is why China has been flying in planes loads of police from outside Wuhan. This appears to target the frontliners because we they are not properly hazmatted.
