I have a son, who is turning 50, born on that same day.

They can celebrate together. Otoh we’ve already had two cakes (brownies) and he’s gotten his present ( a flat screen Smart TV). Last night he grilled steaks. We decided we’d celebrate Nikks birthday But I really like the idea of celebrating all week or all month. Tonight we have the rally. Am Hoping Wifi will work. If not I’ll watch later.

My hubby’s birthday is in 4 days, his younger brother the day before, a granddaughter’s birthday yesterday, great-granddaugther’s on the 25, grandson on the 26 and my dad’s was on the 1st.
So we do party in the family all month long.

Soy is in everything. Can’t even eat Campbell’s soup or margarine or mayonnaise or salad dressing or meat tenderizer or ...or ...or. even in vitamin pills. They use it to thicken shakes and it’s an additive to ground beef without having to be on label if it’s less than the filler amount. They use soy to make elastic , plastic and rubber ( latex intolerance is actually soy intolerance ) Try buying underwear without elastic!
Its a major cause of IBS that goes completely over looked by DRs.
Consider this a public service announcement not necessarily directed to you or daughter. Just that tolerance problems are so common and seldom diagnosed. Your daughter is doing the right thing by watching her diet Unfortunately the government agencies sneak the offending elements in without telling us. Their thinking a little amount can’t hurt us and it’s good for the farmers. Am hoping that since we will be trading large amount of soy to China the amount we use in our own food will lessen.
