I doubt I’ve read Gelb’s book, can’t guarantee that I don’t have a copy though, I’m not a great housekeeper — looks like a moving truck crashed somehow *inside* the house. Keeps me on the my toes, running from avalanches and turning down calls from that packrats show.
Please go ahead and send the letter, right here in FReepmail is fine.
Please forgive the density of the ancient grey matter but how does that work? It is a Word document with graphics and formatting. I had just presumed an email address - or snail mail? sigh
If the Phaistos Disk had been announced by James Mellaart, I'd agree it would be questionable. :^) The disk text was was made by dies/stamps, making it the earliest known moveable type print job in the world. The characters used are from Anatolia, but as it is the sole sample of its kind, and longest known text using the character set (as far as I know), it probably won't be cracked to the satisfaction of anyone other than the each of the purported translators. :^)
Oh, sorry, I’ll FReepmail a better address.
“Last time I was in Dothan, AL, the southern gentility was quite evident.”
Have you read “Gone With the Wind?”
no
Entertaining and educational. Now that I think of it, I may reread it myself.
