I just wish that Miz Ginsberg’s mother had been able to take advantage of, and desirous of free and easy abortions.

How much better would her quality of life have been without Ruthie dragging her down!?!?!

The Constitution is absolute and means exactly what it states.

I think what she’s trying to say is that when abortion was outlawed middle class and rich woman were able to pay to go to a country where it was legal and get one. Poor women were stuck. From my readings on pre-Roe times it was common for rich woman to take “vacations” for this purpose.

Just because some women were willing to do that doesn’t mean we should have legalized it in the name of fairness. In fact when abortion is outlawed again I think a better way to handle this is pregnancy test for woman traveling abroad. You leave the country pregnant and come back not pregnant your in trouble.

Just to clarify, that’s what I’d like to see done but I know it’s very unrealistic and impractical to give every women traveling abroad a pregnancy test.
