The whole situation is very problematic.
It’s very problematic to ID the real victims here.
And the causality.
‘This is true of a lot of big cities, not simply NYC.’
Not always true of NYC - nor most other big cities...yes many things and the people running the cities and the police departments HAVE CHANGED!
Illegals roaming, gangs...and other things...
you are right...I have no details...a poor dead 17-18 year old is a sad sad detail...just had one of those now 20...living on a college campus...pray every day!
If you are looking to buy weed, you have a bunch of money in your pocket
I got mugged and the police asked what I was doing in the neighborhood. I was walking from one place to the other and didn’t know it was a bad neighborhood. Another time I got stopped by the police at 1 AM and asked what I was doing in the neighborhood. I was trying to find the train station, had a train to catch.
I guess that sometimes white go to neighborhoods like that to buy drugs. Sometimes whites who get shot in those neighborhoods are drug dealers making a purchase.
At least it used to be blacks would be asked by the police what they were doing in a neighborhood, and maybe taken to the station or told to leave in a fancy neighborhood.
The problem is that the City doesn't want to spend the money policing the parks. This is all the Mayor's fault and the libs that run NYC. With the way Harlem has gentrified over the past couple of decades the whole island of Manhattan should be one big low crime zone.
Maybe she wanted to go out and buy a Sandwich from Subway.
Play stupid games.
Who is safer, a Black Kid walking through a White Neighborhood or a White Kid walking through a Black Neighborhood?
Some girls like doing things because it's "dangerous" and "exciting". Tessa was too inexperienced to understand just how really dangerous walking around there at night was, and would likely call you racist if you attempted to explain why.
It is way more dangerous for a white kid to walk around a black neighborhood. However, in the old days the police would stop black kids from walking around a white neighborhood.
I lived on a street that had the foot bridge to the local high school. The schools had recently been integrated, and the black kids would walk to school in the big groups down the middle of the street. People were annoyed with it, but I guess they didn’t feel safe walking alone on the sidewalk.
Jesse Jackson admitted that when hearing steps coming up behind him while walking down the Street he was relieved when he looked back and saw a Cracker.
Just sayin...
Whitey is always to blame in New York.
I am sorry you got mugged. I hope you are now okay with that experience.
I am lucky to have a different life experiance. I am six one, 225 pounds in my prime. Played football and lacrosse.
Plenty of guys were ready to take a swing at me, then sized me up and walked away.
Maybe, the muggers also sized me up, then took a pass
Why is the police union president leaking information about the case? Fire him. Methinks, Sgt Union Thug is full of BS that likely is what the murderers claimed to divert responsibility. She disrespected them by asking if they were selling mj, so they had no choice but to kill her up to protect the neighborhood from white druggies? Why have the cops allowed this same group of criminal children to prey upon the area with impunity? U.T. wants to evade the fact that had the police done their job, the bastards would not have been loose to attack a foolish college student.
If the girl’s father wants justice, he’ll have to offer a bounty.
Her parents should not have let her leave Northern Virginia.
There are so many excellent colleges there.
Interesting about Moseley, that despicable piece of excrement.
I had always hoped he would be murdered at Attica.
Smaller people need The Equalizer.
