To be honest, I didn't even know the Dims have a say who the R's (or vise versa) could put on a committee. Why does the opposite party have any control who is put on a committee? Seems to me, they should be able to put on who they want without any say from the opposite party.

I haven't found Laura Carey\Yovanovitch email back and forth yet...Tucker has them, among others, but I haven't seen them released.

There is no doubt in my mind that Laura Carey is the Laura Carey identified as working for state dept. Foreign Affairs Personnel, is the same Laura Carey. I haven't found out who she currently works for - only identified as a Democratic staffer.

There is also no doubt in my mind that Carey & Yovanovitch had at least a prior working relationship based on what Tucker revealed as such:

There was no objection on the flr to the change by GOPers to install Jordan on Intel Cmte for next wk's hrngs. Pelosi could have vetoed this as Intel Cmte is a "Select" Cmte. She has ultimate authority over its mbrs
