I go to Mass every week, but I stopped giving - not that they will go broke because of me - because I was sick of my money going to aid illegals & pedophiles.

I know to be a Christian means to help take care of our fellow man but when it goes against the laws of the land that is a step too far.

I would never ask someone who needs help if they were illegal or not before helping but I'm not sure if I could hide them if they were breaking the law.

I have compassion for their plight and them wanting a better life but they need to follow the laws and not go to the front of the line.

I have been favoring the Methodist Church, since Trump has removed the Johnson Amendment the pastor of this church says whatever is on his mind AND he is definitely an America AND American Families First guy!!! A few thoughts:

I don’t trust this, or any, Fox poll.

I think poll results are being lied about and even invented in order to cause us conservatives to think that we are in the minority in hopes that we’ll change because of peer pressure. They don’t know us. Unlike them, we think independently.

I’m Catholic, too.

The Church has been thrown into chaos from within. It is a coup.

Many people who identify as Catholic do so because they were born into a Catholic family. It’s nothing more than a habit.

Today many, if not most, Catholics don’t know the faith which they profess so their poll responses are meaningless.

I detest satan and this “pope” who serves him, but this, too, shall pass. Christ is with us.

The scum who are trying to destroy the Catholic Church and to separate me from the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist can jump into a fiery lake.

We Christians of today - both Protestant and Catholic - are the ones chosen to be put on earth during this time of persecution and testing.

It’s wonderful and a little scary, but God is with us always.

My prayers are for all of us.

I don't know if they got the hint, but for the first couple of months, instead of putting money in my envelop, I wrote & inserted a note telling them to stop giving money to the illegals or I would quit giving them any more money.

Very well said Sam. Our church helps many people. We sponsor a day feeding the families who need help. We also have what we call a food kitchen for people in need. We have members who travel to places and rebuild homes that have been damaged in weather related areas. The list goes on.
