Yes - you are on to something. Her activity relative to the impeachment misadventure can been described as the "Nixon Lite Impeachment Model", meaning, skip the full House vote to start impeachment, nibble around the edges with secretive faux impeachment committee work, but then use the supposed power of the Court of Public Opinion to 'force' Trump to resign....like Nixon. She may even try to convince RINOs (Romney comes to mind) to gather a like-minded GOPe group to take that slow walk up the the White House driveway to convince Trump to resign. Ain't gonna happen - but would be VERY entertaining if they try!
