DP and I went out for a stroll. There’s a lot of yardwork going on in our neighborhood.
:D
Sometimes it just fits the moment.
A lot of plants think Winter took a holiday. I hope they won’t be disappointed later.
Keep those doors to Canada closed, Mr. President!
Most companies won’t do that here since then the driver has no custody of the trailer and can’t say for certain that nobody had their fingers in the trailer when he wasn’t near it.
There are tons of other reasons but they’d make this post one page long and very boring.
Over your way I suspect it works mostly because of there being more or less a professionalism to the industry.
In 2008 they started allowing God knows what to drive cdl here with undeniably bad results.
The quality of drivers fell off a cliff and hasn’t stopped falling since.
Wish dad was still here.
He had an idea what was wrong with the chainsaw, I never heard from him what it needed.
We have part of a cedar tree on the ground from the December 4/5 snowstorm still.
There are a couple of things that can cause trouble. There’s a good chance the chain may be worn internally; as soon as it heats up, it’s too loose and jams itself. If it’s one you’ve been using for a while, you might want to get a fresh blade.
The rest of it is the running of the engine; proper mixture of gas, fresh gas, and then messing with the carburetor - don’t.
If the “jets” are getting clogged, you need someone who knows what he’s doing, although you can acquire the tools and techniques and teach yourself. You do have lots of spare time, don’t you?
Oh, and then there’s spark. Give a good look at the plug, and check that a good spin will cause a spark to jump when you can see it.
That means connecting everything up including grounding the plug and connecting the spark plug wire and giving it a spin.
That beats using your hand to see if you can get shocked.
(These tests should be performed without fuel fumes all over the place.)
Spare time is the one thing, besides finances, I lack an adequate supply of.
Been there, done that ... for a long, long, really long, time.
:-(
We who knew him and benefited from his humor and knowledge, miss him, too, Darks. He was one in a bazillion, and I’m sure he was needed more where he is. Perhaps you’ll be inspired as to what was/is wrong with the chainsaw. Keep your mind open for inspiration. ;o]

No chainsaw input from me. Have you tried using your model name to search YouTube?
I’m not entirely certain what is wrong with it.
He mentioned a bunch of different things, so I really don’t know.
Does it saw?
I still have a lot of work to do before we plant anything new.
Morning Floof is looking forward to another day.
Good morning.
The shower has been had and I’ve made a nuisance of myself on another thread, so in a few minutes, I’ll write to Charlie. I can’t help but wondering how he’s faring with all the restrictions in Vegas. With the casinos closed, there are a lot of people out of work, and even more of them having withdrawals from their gambling habits. Maybe it only affects the the big casinos, not the little neighborhood ones. I’ll have to ask him.
I have to go back to Lin’s today and get some paper tape and some gauze pads and maybe, if it’s in, I’ll get a bag of flour. If it isn’t jacked up. And maybe today will be the day I call the water service. I could handle $1.99 a case of 24, but not $5.99. So one way or another, I need to contact them.
On thing is sure: If these shortened store hours extend to payday, I’ll have to do the pick-up service. UNNGH.
Then I'll get the envelope sent out to you today, just in case. Maybe you'll have it by Monday.
Looking forward to an envelope on Monday! I’m nearly through one of the Clive Cussler car books - and I saved the boxes they came in - so maybe I’ll mail it on Monday and you’ll have it on Friday.
I’m not going to do an injury to anyone who thinks nobody but himself can hear the music he’s playing. I’m really not. Even though there’s still Confession on Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m.
