You’re so right. Only a mother or a father has the right to warn juvenile delinquents and future criminals to not do potentially lethal acts.

“You’ve raised your children.”

I didn’t raise my children the way my mother and father raised us. Many of the values were the same but the approach was different. Would not have appreciated unsolicited input. My mother in law had lots to “add”. She was ignored. She became bitter and cut us out of her life. Oh well
