My opinion: Rosenstein was part and parcel of the coup. Then, they flipped him. The Trump Team flipped him when they caught him promising to wear a wire to obtain dirt to invoke the 25th Amendment. Wictor is a novelist. He crafted a hopeful narrative which may be partly correct if the whole coup plot is pieced together by Powell and Flynn. Of course Flynn didn't want this. I believe that General Flynn is sacrificing himself in a counter intelligence probe of the Deep State. The fact that by dint of being within the court system, gives him the “standing” to access and explore the parameters and players within it. He and his lawyers can get access to the means of collection of evidence, and who was involved in the ordering of collection, and the chain of command and custody of evidence, and orders.

The game is to bring down Judges, and investigators. As well as some of those directing operations, if not all of them.

He had time to put people in place to do this before he stepped down, and they could easily be working towards this goal with him.

My fervent hope is that when the smoke clears, he will be free and clear. Evil people will be behind bars in Orange jump suits, and he is seen as totally vindicated.
