What ails people? That is offensive and meant to be so.
Some woman in the pharmacy was repeatedly using f*** in her loud conversation on the phone today. I realized that that language distresses me, especially coming from a woman. I think I may have outlived the country I knew. People sure are not being brought up with the same manners my parents tried to instill in me.
It leaves me very sad and sorry. Manners are what allow people to coexist in society. So many of the concocted issues today would disappear if people kept their personal business to themselves and treated others politely.

I swear I felt it here in Phoenix . Upstairs reading, water in glass on table was moving and I felt a very slight tremor . We live by a body of water, that may be why. I grew up in Southern California , know earthquakes.
