I cried through every branch’s song and the flyovers. Today was perfect, and I haven’t even watched the fireworks yet! Happy Independence Day everyone!

I’m watching the Capitol 4th Celebration again on PBS, on my Roku.
Yes there were quite a few last night, so I expect a lot tonight when it gets dark. Due to fires, they make us use”safe & sane” fireworks which don’t go as high but are still loud. And the city had a display at the beach.
We bought fireworks for the first time in our children’s lives (except for sparklers), and the ones who are here are loving it. There are fireworks going off all around our neighborhood as well. I’m inside because firecrackers make me a nervous wreck. My husband just said, “Why are you in here? It was your idea!!!” hahaha. He’s enjoying himself as are our children and one grandchild who is here.

At least, the city has a big display.
Some years do to drought that wasn’t even allowed.

Some people that live here say that they felt the earthquake, but I was unloading stuff from a major Safeway trip. Thank goodness it was not in a more populated area.

The rallies, the donations, this yuge patriotic parade... definently opened my eyes. The media is clearly full of shit. The left is full of shit. We are clearly the fierce majority. We're going to take this country by a storm and there ain't a damn thing they can do about it.
