She heard somewhere that a cat has nine lives and she is bound and determined to push each one to its limits.
We’re giving her some porch time. Actually she is giving herself porch time. Each time P would open the door while I was gone she’d jump out. Since mama came home she’s not playing tag. Ready to curl up for a nap.
The wedding was very special. Nothing elaborate three maids all different sizes, all dressed in flattering different styles and coordinated colors. Brides dress was vintage ballerina length. Perfect for her petite form
The best part of the day was the message and ceremony. The regular preacher grandmother had passed so he was out of state. His “substitute “ was fantastic. GOD sent. The message was biblical and personal. Much laughter and tears. 200-300 in attendance which is a lot for a country wedding. Am so happy for couple and parents.
Saw lots of old friends. Heard more than once “you haven’t aged a bit! You look great!” ....must stop talking to self in public.
Thanks for the “after action” report, hm!
That is large for a country wedding.
May the Lord bless this fortunate couple.
The newly weds came down the aisle and “dismissed each of us”. Lots and lots of hugs They wanted everyone to know how much they appreciated their “witnessing of the wedding vows”. I’ve seen similar dismissals but nothing as loving and touching as today.
Couldn’t Bee Bee be either male or female name?
I had a cat named Henry when I was a kid. Henry disappeared so we put up posters. Someone called and said they found Henry, so my dad went and got him. Some weeks later we figured out it wasn’t Henry, because the cat was pregnant. Henry became Henrietta.
Am just getting caught up. Has there been a Q drop?
Of course, ms behavin is a perfect name.
Enjoy your garden today. I went for a !Long lunch with my granddaughter, the one that just graduated HS, today, very enjoyable. Usually when we see each other there’s other family around, so it was nice just the two of us. Guess you saw my posts about the unexpected new cat in my home? :-)
Take care!
Kittens are so much fun!
It was just special Nothing extravagant. Small wedding cake to cut and cupcakes at the reception. Groom was raised in the largest church in Town. Very close and supportive church family They moved in but were very active in church and school activities. Church supportive in raising the the new boys in town.
The bride paternal grandfather was one of ten all living within a few miles of her family home. Lots and lots of relatives and relatives of relatives who all consider themselves kin. Good Christian family. And lots of fun.
Her mom had been hair dresser for the her entire clan plus husbands clan and a few friends. When their son came home from serving in military with mental health issues, he needed the loving 24-7 care mom was able to give until they found the “right medicine” All those customers stood with them in their time of need. (He now lives in his own small house , across the field, and is doing fine ) But you can understand why no one could not be invited Baby sister had been looked out for by all and after graduating college she was marrying her high school sweet heart that they all loved
ZING!
For those of you following along on the Congolese migrant influx in San Antonio, this is what made air on Thursday.
