We moved to Havasu on Aug.4th on a Fri., had made arrangements and electric was supposed to be turned on but wasn’t.

We moved in stuff in the heat, dying, just before 5 we ran down to electric company, I knew I would not last the weekend in the heat.

Can’t remember why they hadn’t gotten out to turn on electric but they did send someone right over.

I wore shorts and no jacket all winter, got funny looks but it felt good to me as being from the mountains loved the winter weather in Havasu.

Talk about catching up...I have been outside cutting bushes and trees growing on our fence line. I will try to catch up..but once walking through the family room I saw our BEAUTIFUL Melania and handsome President in London.....AND was Melania stunning or what!!~ Her outfit was breathe taking!(Westminster Abbey)

I live in the Phoenix area and even I would have difficulty with the summer in Lake Havasu.

I am used to the Phx. weather tho try not to make to many summer trips down.

Yes, I remember the water running in the washes after a rain storm.

And there are quail everywhere.

People would stop their cars for quail crossing.

I remember the babies couldn’t make it up onto the sidewalk, curbs too high, so we’d stop and pick them up and place them on the sidewalk.

That was back when hubby and the older boys quail hunted, drove them crazy, so many quail they couldn’t shoot. LOL
