Present conditions do lend themselves to making the idea of activating/invoking the Resurrection Act- acceptable and believable, etc., except the fact that it wasn’t accurate information after all. I appreciate the White House getting out in front of this lit fuze with such a quick reaction.

BORDER SECURITY AND MERIT-BASED REFORM: President Donald J. Trump is proposing a pro-American, pro-immigrant, and pro-worker approach to immigration by fully securing the border and moving our outdated legal immigration system to a competitive, merit-based system.

* President Trump’s goals for a modern immigration system are to:
+ Fully Secure the border
+ Protect American wages
+ Attract and retain the best and brightest talent
+ Prioritize immediate families

SECURING THE BORDER FIRST: Full border security is the bedrock of a functioning immigration system and it must come first.

Thank you Rusty...Unfortunately I think some searching comes from living down in the sewer during all those 100 or more rallies..lol The lies I posted never failed to surprise us that these reporters continued to lie and they were at the rallies themselves. We caught on early in our President's campaign that these weren't reporters but paid DNC staff.

I just watched the WW II veteran paratrooper being interviewed. True grit and the right stuff- two great movies, and that guy had both qualities in spades! AIRBORNE!

I was over in Nijmegan, Holland, on Sep. 17th, 1984, jumping onto the very beet field drop zone that the 82nd Airborne had jumped onto, during Operation Market Garden, 40 years previously, during WW II. We met WW II Dutch commandos and the commanding general of the 82nd ABN DIV, Brigadier General "jumpin'" James Gavin, in a ceremonial lineup after the jump. He was the first paratrooper of the first "stick" to jump out of one of the planes that day. It was a jump to honor the men of that mission- the largest daylight airborne operation of WW II, that I participated in, and the most memorable of my career.

Anyone remember the book by Cornelius Ryan, A Bridge Too Far, and the movie of the same name? It was based on the military mission- Operation Market Garden. It didn't go so well for the British. They went in with 10,000 men, and came out with 2,000 men. Montgomery described it as a success.
