Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh’s corrupt non-profit is a brilliant example of why we should end ALL non-profit status. Non-profits are too often a way to anonymously launder money and not pay taxes. People who want to donate to an organization like their church or a real charity like The Shriners Hospital for Children will do so even if they do not get a tax deduction.
