I love how they think that what they're doing is a "strategy". When you've been thoroughly outplayed in a game of chess, you start making moves that hasten the end. Too embarrassed to resign, you pretend you've got some "moves" and there is something yet to try for.
But that's not a strategy. It's a covert way of asking for a finish. "I'm sending out some unprotected pieces for you to capture without penalty. This is uh...part of a strategy!" Yeah, no. You just want the end to come.

If I was setting up a company called “Eastern Australian Irrigation”, my first thought would *not* be to establish it in the Cayman Islands.

Tax havens do massive damage to the global tax system. Two-fifths of multinational profits now flow through tax havens. They are undermining the global tax base, making it harder for nations to fund health & education systems.
Not everyone in a tax haven is a wrongdoer. But there are plenty of questionable characters in tax havens. Four-fifths of the money in tax havens is there in breach of other countries’ tax laws.
A Labor Govt would crack down on tax havens. We’ll stop people claiming automatic deductions for travelling to havens. We’ll require disclosure to the share market & by those tendering for govt work. More transparency, fewer loopholes.

In fact, some intelligence pros I’ve talked with previously wonder aloud whether the Russian activity with Steele and the Trump Tower meeting were what is known in spy tradecraft as “discoverable influence operations.”
In layman’s terms, they were setups — with some accurate elements and lots of false information — designed to be discovered by U.S. intelligence, with the goal of sowing doubts or “kompromat” in the American democracy.

1) Why was Adam Schiff not questioned by Mueller on his supposed evidence of Trump collusion?
2) Why did Schiff not offer the evidence to Mueller?

The same answer applies to all three questions: In each instance, it would have undermined the RAT Narrative. I live in Danville, CA. We have the dubious distinction of having had Adam Schiff attend our grown children’s High School. His equally worthless parents moved to Danville from Framingham, MA following their “ilk” moving here to once beautiful and conservative California to stink up the place. And I’ve always wondered why they came here, when Marin County ( just across the Golden Gate Bridge to the north of San Francisco) has the highest concentration of Jewish people in the state (10%), and when you trace them back, nearly all of them came from the Northeastern States and settled there. We spent yesterday with our daughter and her family in Petaluma ( Sonoma County, which is next to Marin to the north). When I asked my son in law why the State has left a small section of highway 101 right at the Marin/ Sonoma County line unimproved, he told me that Marin was holding it up, fearing that its completion would lower their housing values, when SF commuters could move further out, not have a bad commute into the city, and get cheaper housing.

My folks lived in CA in the 70s and 80s, loved visiting them when they lived in Dublin, Hayward, Sunnyvale, and Merced before they moved to AZ.
Back then CA was another world wasn’t it? And a nice place to live.

For over 30 years the East end of Louisville, Kentucky has blocked having a bridge going from Indiana to Kentucky. Many cities on both sides of the Ohio River have suffered with heavy traffic and poor conditions of old bridges on site. We had only three bridges that were completed in 1929...1962...1963..having to covered all of the road traffic from Indiana and Kentucky. The East end Of Kentucky thought a new bridge would cut down the price of there land. We finally got not one but two bridges last year. An extra one in downtown Louisville area and southern Indiana..and the East end of Louisville. BUT it cost more because they demanded (Elite Democrats in the East end)the construction had to go through a hill and a tunnel had to be constructed in order for the highway to be in what they demanded the correct area.
