I believe the when the President used the word, "Treason," he took away any option he might have had to go easy on them.

As President, he is duty-bound to root out and prosecute Treason.

At this point, 2020 is a "Won game," and yet he will throw some uncertainty into it, by necessity, when he sucks all the oxygen out of the room by indicting some big names.

Agreed. And POTUS used the word “treason” many times in the last couple of weeks, not by accident.

I probably could, poorly. There are those here that are clearly more competent sports casters, coaches, and refs to teach football.

My point is that I dont think that that matters as doing so is taking the analogy too literally.

A “touchdown” just means 6 points. Its nice when your team makes 6 points but I dont believe the point of Q is to score a few points against our opponents. If we continue the too literalized interpretation then in most situations the opposing team gets the chance to get the ball back. Im pretty sure that Q doesnt intend to ever give the ball back to our opponents.

We were at one point at 50 yards or more meaning we wanted to be aggressive but had to be careful because a mistake at that point makes it easy for the opponents to win.

At the 40 would mean we have a foothold in enemy territory and can be more bold, nearly all offensive in our effort. Things can potentially move quite quickly.

Realizing that a “touchdown” occurs upon crossing in to the endzone (End zone) reframes the analogy from this being one of many potential efforts within the game of politics through time to focus on just this singular effort(or “drive”, in this case to defeat The Cabal) to reach the endzone (the finish line of our effort if you will, and the location of our goal.)
