He is not religious - he puts his views in front of God. He doesnt submit to God nor does he reflect on Gods word.
This is DIFFERENT from the religious left that advocate for liberal interpretation of Gods law - but still submit to Gods word.
Buttgood, like Cortez, is a Facebook philosopher. They have no real understanding nor do they even understand what they say other than what theyve heard others say. Theyre educated idiots and communists love them to death.
what Christians and conservatives understand is DJT stands up for their right to worship and believe in the God of the Bible. Buttigieg would throw us to the wolves unless we worship and believe in the same fake, liberal god he "worships" (he is actually worshipping himself - the liberal, Episcopalian thing just dresses up their man-centered world viw in religious garb).
Hmm ButtGeek might be a better moniker...
But any criticism of Islam is completely off-limits.
Correct.
As an ex-Episcopalian dont even get me started. That those texts elevate and honored Spongs writings as intelligent was my first foray into the corruption of institutions.
Good summary. Mark Steyn couldn’t have done it better.
You pretty much answered your own question.
He is homo.
Therefore the media love him.
Therefore he is a major candidate.
Good for Trivial Pursuit, but I am going to call him:
"Butt-E-Gig".
Buttigeig defends late term abortions. Who the hell is he to lecture other people about their Christian faith.
Hes a practicing Episcopalian,
The Church of Whatever.

Beto, I think. I’ll finish it: “Another one is a guy who rides around on a skateboard.”

Oh, yeah. He’d be “The guy who tried to feed shit to his wife.”
Lovely guy.
Years ago I sat down and had a serious discussion about faith and politics with a Catholic priest. The subject at hand was how to raise my children, and at the time I was married to a Catholic and I was a Charismatic Non-denominational. Wife wanted the kids raised Catholic, and I wanted them to be Christians, and to me denomination is more of a hinderance than a help. He gave me his OPINIONs, and I quoted scripture to him. After an hour, he told me to get the h*ll out of his church and never come back. I, and my children, obliged.
The Obama administration and Kathleen Sebelius ran roughshod over people’s religious beliefs in implementing Obamacare, with surprisingly little resistance from church leaders. The next Democrat administration will probably be even more extreme if Buttigieg’s rhetoric is indicative.
Episcopalian values are not quite congruent with Christian values.
Every religion has been infiltrated and it started around 2000.
It was part of a very organized plan to prevent any future DNC President from ever getting in trouble the way Bill Clinton did.
Now they control most of the pulpits in the Country.
He has no serious standing.
He has the backing of the Gay Mafia who has infiltrated most organized religions at the highest levels.
This goes way beyond the targeting of the Catholic Church.
And in praxis (how he'd govern, now he'd rule), an anti-Christian.
I liked the quote from Ron Chandonia which rounded out Dreher's article:
What I find most fascinating about Mayor Pete is his ability to speak the language of post-Vatican II Catholicism better than most of our progressive priests and bishops. He is James Martin SJ in a sportcoat-and-tie: unctuous and self-righteous, of course, but also charmingly mellifluous. If he and his spouse had persisted in the faith in which they were baptized, they would no doubt be among Martins acolytes."Pete was valedictorian (and class president) of the Catholic high school I attended, right on the outskirts of Notre Dame, where both his parents taught. I am convinced that the liberal Catholicism he absorbed in that environment (COMMONWEAL Catholicism, Id call it) is morally as well as politically bankrupt, and I am hopeful Petes campaign will crash and burn so completely that potential progressive candidates in the future will openly acknowledge atheistic secularism as their one and only creed."
Even the Devil can quote Scripture.
