JUST IN: Senate Judiciary Cmte. member Sasse says the US Justice Dept. has opened an investigation into allegations that dept. attorneys "may have committed professional misconduct in the manner in which the [Jeffrey] Epstein criminal matter was resolved."
Today has been a wonderful day. Have listened to many positive comments on Wifi TV and there are so many fun comments on twitter and FB. Much joy from OUR president.

Speaking of which, I made some Indian fry bread the other night for tacos. The ones that Puffed up too much - well I got out my bottle of honey and ate them like a sopapilla. Couldn’t help myself.

Our Mexican restaurant has the best sopspillas on their buffet. Mouth water just thinking. We ordered off the menu today I had Chicken Aztec the signature dish. It’s always good.

We’re about due from some GOOD Mexican food, need to make a road trip to visit hubby’s brother, his town has the BEST.

Yes, that is surprising. I really don't think she has any chance of being nominated anyway, but they might be thinking if they expose it now, it will be old news by 2020.
With this & the VA scandals, it appears the new strategy is to just say "yes, I did it" , don't resign, and then it will all be swept away soon enough.
Long story Two of the seasonal students were taking their extra papers back home to Mexico. (Produce pickers) Their village did not have a school and they were teaching other children what they had learned. At conference the teacher asked if there was anyway the family could stay year round Four generation of family had been part of our community and church for decades helping the produce farmers
To make a long story short. Father said he and wife were good cooks, the teachers husband worked at a bank The bank owned a restaurant SO our small town gained a new permanent family and an excellent restaurant.
Jose ended up opening five restaurants in adjoining counties. The daughter is now a doctor and her brother a teacher. Many other family members have lived here, been educated and returned to their village which now has school, water, sewage and power. (And a beauty shop open by Joses sister who got her beauty license while her children were educated.) JOse and wife have sold their restaurants here to other family members and are enjoying their retirement in their very prosperous village.
Yes it is OUR Mexican restaurant.
