Nope, just jackets and sweatshirt type hoodies.
Now if I was going to be outside for a good length of time I’d have to get one out to wear.
When hubby is out snow blowing, he wears only a jacket, gets too hot in a heavy coat he says.

Democrats campaigned on working within Washington and getting things done! How is that working out?

I guess you have nice temperatures. It was actually like that in the Sierras, we could have snow on the ground, be wearing snow boots to get around, but also just wearing a t-shirt or thin long sleeve shirt in the afternoon when the sun was out. It never really got much below freezing either. My husband told me it was not normal winter or Mountain weather! He is from New York.

I wouldn’t exactly say NICE temps but when you are just going from house to car then into where ever you are going, don’t want to be bothered with a heavy coat.
I’d wear one to work then forget to get it out of closet when I left and not have it for the next day anyway.
With a jacket, I’d just put it on the back of my chair and would remember it.
We do have temps that fluctuate from the teens to high 30s or 30s to high 50s in the winter.
Do not have severe winters like we used to.

Step Three....find the picture you want to post....I chose Snake Plissken....
Drag him inside the box...notice he's now inside the box.....Click on OPEN...
Step Four...Click on the PICTURE of SNAKE....NOT the upload another image...you are wanting the picture to be in the original stage to drag....Click picture.
Step Five. Drag the picture over to our Train freerepublic posting box...notice I'm in the reply box of yours Jane.

AND that's my lesson in using the postimage site....Once Snake is dragged to the box...the equation will pop up.

We had a really cold spell early December. I went to the mall to shop for Mayzie’s birthday, and wore a coat. I got so hot in the store I started sweating and thought I was going to pass out. Had to ask to leave my coat on the counter.
To: Rusty0604
That’s what I hate most about winter. You are either too hot wearing a coat or too cold not wearing one. And I hate carrying jackets or coats around, I inevitably lose them.
When I 1st moved here I went to the cutest little thrift store. They had a whole bunch of really heavy beautiful sweaters. For $0.50 each. I probably bought about 10. I think I were one once and like you said, almost passed out because it was so hot in someone’s home. An elderly lady that kept her house at about 87 I think. I haven’t worn one since. I probably ought to re-donate them. :-)

Thanks for that tutorial, NIKK :)
I figured out what my issue was, on postimage. I don’t have to ‘click’ on “Upload Images”. I can just drag a photo over to that ‘Upload Image’ bar, and photo uploads. I thought I had to always click on it.
That is great to know, as I had did not like clicking on that bar....LOL.
And, you’ve now taught me that I can just drag an image over, to the FR reply box, and not have to copy/paste the URL. (HTML code still required.)
Again...appreciate the time/effort you’ve taken to post the process you use.

There's nothing on Trump's public schedule today, but the press pool's call-time is 10:00 a.m. & the White House hasn't called a "lid" yet. (That would be ordinary.) So he may very well add something. Last year on MLK Day, he was recovering from the "sh*thole countries" scandal.
************
The in-town press pool at the White House has been summoned. My colleague @fran_chambers is the print pool reporter today. As is often the case, we don't know what might happen until it happens.
Francesca Chambers
Hi. I'm your print pooler at the White House. @realDonaldTrump is on the move....
David Martosko
Destination unknown.
NIKK...this is how a hating media reports on our President and Vice President. Total disrespect....King Obama would have had all kinds of praises for his visit.
David Martosko(DailyMail).....January 21, 2019 will be remembered as the day President Donald Trump uttered the immortal civil rights proclamation: "Great day. Beautiful day. And thank you for being here. Appreciate it."

There are verified accounts on @Twitter who have offered bounties to anyone willing to physically assault these children. Perhaps this is a story you might investigate on your network.
